I managed to book ours on Monday, but for some reason I could not link my gesy record (mistake on my arc number on the gesy system), so my doctor did it and booked for me.
Had my first AZ jab yesterday - no problems, 2nd booked for the 23 June.
It was on the main home page as above.

Re: Cyprus and Greece to follow French example
The good news is that the Cyprus Theory Test and Driving test may be carried out in either English or Greek, in fact if you look at the road sign leaflet given to students it is in both languages - so if we do have to retake our tests, maybe not so bad. I am sure most of us with a refresher course w...

UKW3 question
Just a question, has anyone applied for a ukw3 residence document yet, I did not apply for a meu3 last year, (I have an MEU1) as I was waiting for the new rules. Has anyone changed their MEU1/3 for a UKW3 yet? what was the procedure like, any problems? Looking at the Cyprus Gov website it seems a si...

I have ordered some new ones I just hope they will do ftp uploads for the site.
I do not expect them to arrive soon though, some of my packages from Amazon.de have taken over 8 weeks to arrive.

They should all be working, but I noticed the image from upper Peyia is crap to say the least! When I am passing next I will re-focus it, the camera must be at least 10 years old by now. I am open to suggestions for a new camera make that does regular uploads with a good image quality. Regards, Digby

Hi, Not sure why emails are not getting through, but I have noticed the RBL blocking is quite strict, possibly too much - I have been in the office and calls have been answered. I can be contacted by text on 99043327 as well. If we cannot answer a call it should go to voice mail. I will have to reme...

Re: losing internet connection
Try logging in to the router and changing the wifi channel from auto to 3 or 10, or ask cyta if you can upgrade the router to the new model which has 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ wifi. The wifi signal is probably being interfered with from a nearby signal.
I assume your cyta router is the previous model.

Re: Seek advice: foreign helper
We have some customers who have helpers, we managed to run a cable from the router to their room and added an additional router for them. As said above an android box will find lots of local tv and also you tube does many channels from Asia, like news etc. If it is not possible to run a cable, you c...

A main stream provider was closed down recently, so the providers are using other stream sources, which as not as stable.
I am sure the various suppliers effected will resolve the issue asap.

Re: mag 4 series
I have a 420 series and it is a marked improvement on the previous models, we have them in stock.
If you have an old 250/254 well worth the upgrade. We are an agent for worldwideiptv.ru as well, but our providers do support the 420 series.

Re: Mag box accepting requests
Sub titles on live tv streams is a bit tricky to do, however it is possible to encode them, but they will be there all the time, plus it adds bandwidth and cpu load in the encoder. I will however ask the question if some channels can be streamed with the sub-titles. One of our providers does do sub-...

Re: Fire in moving car, tragedy averted as driver remains calm
I had this happen to me many years ago, I was driving back from Gatwick airport at shall we say slightly high speeds in a fiat uno turbo ie, only a year or so old, and pulled into a little chef. Well, the heat from the turbo had melted through the fuel line, which whilst driving along the fuel blew ...

Have you tried lifting the box up a bit, say put two pencils under the bottom?, it may be it is getting a little hot during the day.
I have seen this before with the MAG250/254 boxes.

Hi,
I used to work in the leisure industry, and unless a special restriction is placed on the planning permission, you can only live in a holiday home for a maximum of 48 weeks in a 12 month period - I would be 99% certain you will be ok.

Re: Anyone having TV Freezing problems.
There is an issue an a node somewhere that is effecting spain and cyprus, and only one of our TV suppliers. their datacenter is working on it to try to re-route around the problem. hopefully it will be resolved soon. The other TV suppliers are currently working normally.

Sorry for the problem. The server that stores the images failed early yesterday. It has been replaced, but it took a little while to set up for the webcam uploads.
It is back on-line now.

Jim, Is that not part of the fun of the internet, being able to fact check the postings? Still, I would rather have a free speech and open internet than a state controlled system deciding on what I can view or see.. But actually the biggest cost in internet providers is the customer premises equipme...

What's wrong with the idea of free broadband; they cost next to nothing to operate once the infrastructure is in place and it's the government who's already paying for that infrastructure installation meanwhile the private providers are charging users through the nose to use it. Jim, There is a lot...
