Re: BoC JCC car tax payments

Last year 2019 I had trouble trying to tax my vehicle from the UK. I had to ring the Nicosia office and was given a universal code of 057. I used this and it went through straight away. This year I went through JCC as usual and filled in the code 057 and like magic this years tax disc appeared. Used...

Re: Government says it will not interfere over rape claim guilty verdict, protests planned

I think the Cypriots will come to regret their decision not to interfere in the hearing in Famagusta. Even if the Judge decides not to send her to prison or fine her, she will still be a convicted person which has other consequences when in the future she may travel elsewhere. The US do not allow co...

Re: Parents of alleged Ayia Napa gang rape victim feel optimistic

This is a total over the top result for this poor girl. She may have wanted consensual sex with one Israeli but did not deserve what occurred later. The Police should not have held her for 9 hours and badgered her into a withdrawal statement. Anyone with any sense would realise that statement was wr...

This is old news I remember it from June 2018. Very sad that a Navy seal has died over a year later after a long illness as a result of his help in the rescue.

Re: Adding spouses name to vehicle log book.

Yes as an overseas visitor with a car for use in Cyprus by ourselves and family. We altered the log book to include both spouses details and also the car insurance was altered to both names. we did this at the citizens advice bureau in Pathos last April. No problems done very quickly. We had to take...

If you find yourself in Ypres where the Menon gate is there lots of local trips which cover most of the Commonwealth sites from the various battles but in particular Paschendaele and in Ypr...

Varky with his point about Visas and none required for Serbia. Serbia is Russian and Cyprus is a communist country or at least the last government was, and they seem to love a close relationship with Russia, so where does he get his info from?

Have looked everywhere in the Paphos Mall for a double padded mattress cover. Does anyone else know where we might try? Many thanks for any suggestions that may be forthcoming.
