And I suppose one could do that if you bought 24 cans of beer.
But loose cans of beer stacked on a pallet 8 layers high would be a bit unsafe..
Hence the packaging that is used today.. Some beers and soft drinks are in cardboard boxes. maybe all cans should be packaged this way

Re: Countdown to 5 cent levy on plastic bags on 1 July
Some of the packaging is needed and I can't see an alternative. I am thinking of cans of beer sometimes bought in 6's or in 24's They need something to hold them all together.

Re: Imperial System making a comeback?
I notice in the UK newspapers they are already using the Fahrenheit scale for weather for reports of extreme weather. It is a much bigger number if they say the heat it will be plus 95 degrees today ;-) Trev, I don’t know if it just me, but it seems to me that’s when it’s cold people talk about cen...

I don't think we have bought any single use plastic bags in the last 3 weeks.. We make sure we take bags with us when we do the shopping.

Re: The cheapest supermarkets by district
Our dog travels with us in the car most of the times that we go out. If we need shopping we go out reasonably early after breakfast. Like our dog we do not like the heat, so we have the air con on.. When we stop for shopping at Lidl for example, my wife goes in the store and the dog and I go into th...

Re: The cheapest supermarkets by district
Well my wife has said that when we do the next shopping trip we will try Sklavenitis.
One problem in Summer is Parking in the shade. Paps have shady places as do Lidl and Alpha Mega.
But not Sklavenitis.. So, do we leave the dog at home ?

You post your personal opinion, that's fine. But then say it is not up for discussion or debate.
Of course it is... That's what a forum is all about. Discussion and debate
