Re: Brilliant White Matt Emulsion Paint

Difficult to answer. Matt AND brilliant. I used Dulux white brilliant matt a year ago. Very happy with it. However it does not glow in the dark. It is a matt finish, which I wanted. It is definitely not shiny.

Re: Which brands do car thieves in Cyprus prefer?

I had a Toyota in the UK. Spare parts were very very expensive for it. I would think this may be driving the choice for car thieves.

Re: A kite

Thanks for that also. I am a little wary of getting a kite in the post. Most likely ok, but mmmmm. I am probably going the Jimg route. Went to a garden centre today and got two 1m canes. 35 cents each. I also got some strong thin string. 99 cents. I have some good glue from a sun blind repair I did ...

Re: The UK,s future PM and your pound?

Very good question. Boris is no idiot, even though he can come across as a buffoon. HiC does have a valid point. The people who benefit most from his proposed tax cuts are those over retirement age with an income over 80k pounds. Who will decide who our next PM is? Tory party members - mostly rich, ...

A kite

Please, any ideas where to get a kite from! I've tried Jumbo several times, and found nothing there. I've tried googling. No real success. Looking for somewhere in the Paphos area, or at least, Cyprus. If not, I'll have to ask a friend back in ol' Blighty. All thoughts welcome. P.S. Don't care what ...

Re: Camera DSLR . Bought

Thanks for responses. I did end up buying new from Public. I had been there several times over the past few months, but also to Electroline, and Stephanis. But after much reading, the camera I decided was best for me was at Public. Thanks again. :)

Although it is a serious matter, your response did make me laugh. The more I think about it, you may well be right also. :)

And walk defensively. I almost got knocked down at a pelican crossing an hour or so ago. Near the mall. I was with a child. He pressed the button. We waited for green. Green. We waited a second or two to make sure. And started. I saw a car coming, and somehow felt he was not going to stop. Fortunate...

Re: The Ugly side of The Brexit party stirring Racial tensions

I used a good pair of headphones. It was very very clear. I would also add that it would be quite difficult to heavily edit this - note how the voices nearer the microphone recording source are considerably louder than the speaker's voice, and fade or surge as they turn their heads, or move. I certa...

Camera DSLR . Bought

Looking for a not too old DSLR, for general photography.
Or indeed any recommendations for a new camera. But not too expensive. Say below 500.
Thanks.

Two Old-Etonians enjoying a chinwag. What sort of choice will the Conservative party members have, on our behalf? Maybe - an Old Etonian, verses - an Old Etonian. A Brave New World indeed. “Most human beings have an almost infinite capacity for taking things for granted.” Yes - a quote from an Old E...

Yes. They're still very active. Two went around the lighthouse again yesterday afternoon, and then - possibly the same two - buzzed Tomb of the King's Road at about 11pm last night!
I saw what looked like a military transport plane landing at PFO this morning.

Yep your on the money there, Thatcher was that good that her own party dumped her. The Conservative party do seem to be finding it much more difficult to dump May. Meanwhile she goes on in the same old way, delaying, and delaying. Read this in Euronews today - Vote on May's Brexit bill delay...
