One off TV viewing

We are coming to our house in Tala soon and the last episode of a series we've been watching will be on when we are mid-air! We don't want to invest in TV boxes or such like. In the past, I've use 'Epic Privacy Browser' which has it's own simple VPN - click here to pretend you are in X country ... b...

He sounded a bit pessimistic though!! :(

Mobile mechanic wanted

Our friends have just borrowed our Honda HRV, but the clutch was slipping. We are still in the UK currently, but need someone (preferably mobile) do go and investigate. This link https://www.justanswer.com/honda/2dy1f-honda-clutch-peddle-the-floor-hardly-change-gears.html suggests that it may ...

Re: Cobalt to cease trading midnight tonight!

Have you tried ringing any of those numbers? no one is answering any of them. Sorry, I'm just a bit of a 'cheap phone call' geek!  If you select Cyprus from the drop down menu here https://www.blueairweb.com/en/gb/contact/ and scroll down, the other two numbers are CY landlines, but, ...

Re: Cobalt to cease trading midnight tonight!

Word of warning guys, Wife rung up Blue air re offer to help, and they charge you £1,60 a minute for call, she waited for nearly 15 minutes before hanging up, twenty quid down the swanny. Do I guess that by the use of the £ sign you are in the UK?? Not sure what number you called, but this website ...

But at the end of the day two people in love got married, in a truly beautiful setting and gave pleasure to a lot of people in the process. That's exactly it .... I'm not too bothered about it either way, but if it 'floats your boat' then feel free to indulge. It just bugs me the folks that moan ab...

I was stopped a couple of weeks ago at Peyia police station and the officer politely said " I'm just checking your documents sir" He typed ( probably ) my car reg into his portable machine and 30 secs later said thank you, everything is OK and waved me on. Exactly the same thing happened ...

Very sad, but all 'the authorities' can do is to worry about some crazy unenforceable swimming pool law.

Has anyone ever suffered a fatality in a Cyprus swimming pool??

Re: Best currency transfer company

As part of our preparations for our move to Cyprus we're trying to dot every i and cross every t before we get on the plane. Our Cyprus living costs will be met by converting £'s to EUR's and I know our bank offers derisory exchange rates. We therefore want to open a couple of currency transfer acc...

We have always used NFU Mutual https://www.nfumutual.co.uk/insurance/motor-insurance/

Never the cheapest, but consistently the best in all Which reviews.

Alternatively, if you prefer cheaper options, look here.
