Re: EU Court of Justice rules against Cyprus for failure to treat urban wastewater
In a few years time when we the UK stops paying my tax and VAT contributions to the EU it will stop my anger at the grants that Cyprus and other gets from the EU for such things as the Moutallos Cliffs public area that is never used and being used as a grafitti outlet, perhaps they received the gra...

Re: Global Warming - Climate Change
Do you fly? Well that is thanks to science. If you don't trust scientists, step away from your computer and go and live in a cave. If not, you should listen when the vast majority of them tell you there are big problems ahead. It seems to me that scientists are in agreement that temperatures are on...

Re: Gas heating installation
There's several different systems available these days, a friend is looking at electric wall heating which is painted onto the wall. We have underfloor heating which we think is really good, the tiled floors are really cold and radiators don't take the coldness off the floors. Jim Do you have a lin...

Re: No Refund
As far as I know under EU law they are entitled to not refund you but at least they have to repair it for free.

Re: Law passed to regulate Airbnb rentals
Apart from the requirement to register, what changes? As far as I can see AirBnB/Booking.com rentals will still be allowed, just controlled.Plus a future probability that rent received may be taxed. Look at your last sentence and you´ll have the answer. I guess for a lot of people that will be quit...

You can also self refer for most types of scans and x -rays here, unlike in the UK or other European countries where you’d need to see a doctor first How would a layman know whether a MRI scan is what´s needed? Maybe a CT scan would be more appropriate or a scintigram or and X-ray or an angiogram o...

Re: Paphos court acquits Rottweiler owner of manslaughter
