Re: Quebec Mosque shooting suspect was a fan of Donald Trump and Marine le Pen
I presume this is Trump's way of fighting terrorism. "...On his Facebook page, he indicated he liked Le Pen, US President Donald Trump, the separatist Parti Quebecois as well as Canada's left-wing New Democratic Party, the Israeli Defense Forces, heavy metal band Megadeth and pop star Katy Per...

Re: Is Trump mentally ill?
Trump won, irrespective of how many popular votes etc. I find it scary but he won fair and square so it's something we have to accept. Democracy in action I guess, much the same as Brexit. A divisive issue and result and one which people are protesting still.

Thank goodness that's been resolved, now people can start to worry about less important things!

And no doubt people would have been outraged at that, having spent an age trying to figure out why they ought to be offended.

Quite pathetic, not the hand holding but the vitriolic article in The Guardian (unsurprisingly)

The countryside, which can be so beautiful. Family, and friends, who do come out here, sometimes not often enough!

Re: Politics
I honestly do not think the politics head shood be watered down, it s a personnel chose to get involved in a thread, and yes discussion can be heated But that is the nature of the beast. Politics should evoke a degree of passion, it is a passionate abject that b its nature divides opinion sharply, ...

It was about many things for many people. The UK WILL gain more control, that was one of the major issues, too much by being given to Brussels.

Re: Trump gets tough on terrorists
To the do-gooders I would say, that if any of you had to experience the hacking off of your own Son's head by so called ISIS, you may feel differently, although there again, maybe not. Jackie You might want to have a word with Theresa May then What about Mr. Corbyn, has he expressed an opinion on t...

Why do we need a separate section for Cyprus politics? Surely it all comes under the heading of, well, politics doesn't it?
As to original question, I don't see the need to split it, but am happy either way!

Re: Pound/ Euro
On the news last night it showed that some people who voted Brexit are now regretting it, saying that if they new what was going to happen 12 months ago they would'nt have voted to leave. Too many people believed the hype from Farage and Johnson etc Did it also show those who voted remain and on se...

Phew that was painful to watch. Mr. Clegg certainly didn't do himself any favours with that interview.Conoflex wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2017 5:54 pm I know they asked for no links, but I hope this one is OK
It's Clegg, showing all the democratic credentials of Attila the Hun.

We will be thankful for the rain, in July & August. Perhaps some of it could fall then instead of all now!
