Re: Nothing whatsoever to do with Cyprus...

Then there are Republicans who would scrap the monarchy tomorrow. I sit somewhere in between, although granted more t...

Re: Nothing whatsoever to do with Cyprus...

Hudswell, you are nothing if not predictable. A loyal servant indeed. Cap doffing in the extreme. You’d have made a proud leader whistling his men over the top ”for king and country”

Re: Attempted murder of russians in Salisbury

I have seen, albeit state controlled, footage of interviews with Russians and they thought Russia was right to eliminate a traitor!

Evidence does point to Russia, but the posting above does pose some tricky questions.....

Re: Attempted murder of russians in Salisbury

Apparently TM has agreed to send samples to the OPCW - which I assume was necessary to convince France and the US to come on board.... However, on it's own, that isn't evidence of anything other than that we have a sample of this Nerve agent. It's very strange, that the Doctor who attended and provi...

Re: Attempted murder of russians in Salisbury

Since there are only 4 places in the world who could make that, I believe it was Russia.

I find it incredible, that since this happened 6 miles from Porton Down, that our reaction with sending in suited and prepared help, took so long. Why did we not have an emergency strategy?

Tanks, I'm out in a few weeks and I think a stroll along that side (or hire electric tricycles) would be worthwhile... being going to Paphos for over 10 years and only ever drove past the hotels there....

We now have the ex head of the CIA as Secretary of State for the US, who will have to meet with Putin, the ex head of the Russian equivalent. I'm sure that will be an interesting meeting, with full trust on both sides......

A munitions worker during the war, leaving home at 5am and getting back at 8pm, 6 days a week, working as a turner on h...
