Re: Nigel Farage: UK should hold second EU referendum

Jackie Having listened to mainly Tory euro-sceptics for decades, moaning, c...

Re: Paphos Villages

Having upgraded from BT with copper, where I was in theory on 20Mb/s but in practice about 13Mb/s - to Vodafone fibre, which in theory is a minimum of 53Mb/s and in practice is about 50Mb/s, I have to say that the difference for most operations like Mail, Web etc. is not noticeable. Where it makes a...

Re: Paid TV service.

Hypothetical question to Hudswell: if someone paid the UK licence fee but viewed the BBC content in Cyprus, would that be legal? 2nd hypothetical question to Hudswell: how can one watch the BBC overseas services which are free-to-view without having some form of streaming or IP service? If you paid...

Re: Supreme Court upholds Poseidon marina appeal

So, it never rains..... but corruption and an inherent inability to tender for work and be able to finance it, seems outwith the capabilities of too many. I hope the new Paphos mayor realises that this project could really enhance Paphos in the future and pushes for a successful outcome. It's dragge...

Re: UK companies will face huge new VAT burden after Brexit

As I indicated some time ago on here, VAT could be the straw to break the camel's back for British firms regarding Brexit. It means companies having to lay out an extra 20% up front.... will also be the situation for EU companies ordering from the UK - which may make us not worth the bother.... Esp...
