Polemi Festival last night, fireworks plenty of music,a good enjoyable night with lots of Cypriot friends, pretty obvious that very few Brits bothered to support it.

We stopped off there thought it looked fine, somewhere new to drive out to occasionally for an evening meal, we just had 2 Frappes and 2 ice creams 3 small scopes each, total cost 15 euros, what a rip off, will not be going for that evening meal.

The Polemi Festival I this year is on the 11th August at 8.30pm and will be at the village school, this year there are 3 singers, it is 12 euros with food, 8 euros without.

Earlier this week the oldest man in Polemi passed away just 2 months short of his 100 birthday, the village were going to have a celebration two years ago for his 100 but then discovered he was only 98, up until a few months ago he used to walk practically the length of the village twice aday to one...
