Re: Archaeological excavations at Geronissos Island completed( CYWeekly

Thank you for posting, I am interested in this little island so it was nice for me to find out some more. I wonder where all the artefacts that were dug up are - do you know, Max? Cyprus really does keep on giving, there is always something new. Bograt Part of them will be at Lemba, some of the imp...

Re: PL's upgraded Directory - missing companies

Just went to google https://www.bing.com/maps, to remember where the shop is. It is the middle one of the three.
On Bing map one can see on bird's eye the shop if you turn the image 180 degrees with some staff in front of the mirror shop...

Re: EAC receives its first six electric cars (CMail article..)

The energy mix of the next decade and beyond is definitely changing The U.K. said Monday it will ban sales of diesel- and gasoline-fueled cars by 2040, two weeks after France announced a similar plan to reduce air pollution and meet targets to keep global warming below 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degree...

EAC receives its first six electric cars (CMail article..)

Confirming my personal opinion: Fossil fuel is out - Electric is the future.... even one of the largest car producers worldwide - Germany - will have to change their production of diesel cars in the coming years towards electric cars. Problem there is only, that a lot of the electricity is still pro...

AndrewA wrote: Tue Aug 01, 2017 10:08 am Can somebody please tell me where the best place to buy bottled water for a water cooler is?
Most of the Kiosks store the bottles in the open, some even in the Sunshine. I would not buy from them!
Best place are the large supermarkets with a proper storage room.

Are there any projects in Cyprus like commercial PV facilities or windfarms which a private investor could invest in? Jeba The topic was about PV contra to wind power. Considering this. Would welcome PMs of recommendations. I know there are about 3 companies listed on here.... As the investment is for a long period of time (panels last > 40 years) I would recommend not to choose the cheapest offer. Ask for the so called Optimizer, which improve your production of...
