Re: Large Green Rubbish Bins
Is it the municipality who replace them? Ours are not too bad, put in by the developer 10 years ago, presumably he won't have to replace them!

Re: Pafos Artist 2017 opening a flop
Hudswell you're right, the Cyprus of today is not the Cyprus of Zening. Visitors may see it that way, but day to day living here is v different. And I agree with your comments about the old town. I negotiate that area at least twice a week and it's hellish both for traffic and pedestrians. Like you ...

Re: Another huge church- but what a location!
This sounds quite a shame to me, have to say the remote location of many churches I've seen in Cyprus puzzle me. It's difficult to see where the attendees come from and often how they even get into them, perched on such high ground sometimes and seemingly virtually inaccessible!

Re: Trial of the pyx
Sorry, should have said a sample. Was just so surprised that this jury actually happened! They did look as though they were all checking a large amount of coins though, all of which were carefully checked when handing them back!

Trial of the pyx
Seen this on several newscasts today, never come across it before. It's an actual trial by jury of the coins in circulation! Goes way back to beyond Henry3. And the actual person on trial now is the Chancellor of the Exchequer. He is charged with producing the currency in circulation, and if found w...

Please, can people post a member name when posting quotes ! It's a nightmare trying to backtrack as to who saud what. And before anyone says it, I may well have been guilty of this myself, but am really trying to annotate!

Re: Trump gets tough on terrorists
An American lady - didn't catch her name, sounded like......Harper Hayes but googled it, zilch. Anyway she was defending Trump re sacking the AG and it came up in the interview about countries such as Saudi not being banned and she said it was because they supplied all the information required to ve...

Re: Politics
I truly struggle with this 'offence' stance. I'm white, of UK origin, as are my family for several generations past, albeit some of Romany origins. Why would I feel the need to be offended by the use of some other name, monicker, term..... for someone of another race, colour or creed? It affects me ...

Re: Muse Restaurant
Never knew exactly where the Muse was, but in the last 2 weeks have got hopelessly lost trying to navigate the roadworks around Kennedy Square/ Old Town and found myself at the Muse about 4 times at least in that time!!!! Trying to find the way back to Tremithousa I may say!!! Oh, as well as finding...
