Re: British tourists offered 88 euro cents for £1 in Europe, one year on from Brexit vote

Al,
I remember this was a problem some years ago but not so now.
Having used these 3 shops many times over the last 4 years there has never been a "mistake"
Like many things (remember the pirate videos? :D ) things like that have been tightened up.

Re: British tourists offered 88 euro cents for £1 in Europe, one year on from Brexit vote

I visit 3 times a year and in my experience the gift shops in the little court next to Paphinia Seaview Apartments offer the best rate. Re: Local Exchange Rate

If they check the mid-market rate on a website like XE currency etc the rate of exchange downtown near Cydive is usually 2 cents less.
I always buy as few Euros in the UK as I will need for the first day, bring Sterling and exchange there

Re: EasyJet getting ready to move headquarters to Vienna - post Brexit

I think Easyjet are great. Man/Pfo 2/3 times a year, for the last 4 years, think we had an hour delay once.
Was from Pfo so just sat in the outdoor bar with a glass of wine and chilled.
My airline of choice.

Yes that was a bit racist....next you will be referring to Darkies.
Whilst I'm no fan of Nicola Sturgeon I have to say that should Mrs May's efforts not work why shouldn't she attempt to distance Scotland from that if she can?

HiC.. as a mere bystander my thoughts are that everyone has become bored with your constant reiteration of the same old thing. I know I have.

Re: Paphos Classic Vehicle Club

Can I just ask, is this the classic motor show that's been held early/mid May over the last few years, usually preceded by a Greek dancing show by kids from the local schools? We were disappointed to miss it this year :( It is... They had to move it because the harbour was booked up with events for...

Possibly tomorrow we might think it would have been better if the animals HAD voted :? Tbh I just posted that picture to see how easy it was on this site. It always seemed to be difficult on the other one. For me anyway...I realise not you Jules. I fully expected to be told that it didn't show so th...

Why be a martyr?
Phone your surgery in the morning at 8.30 (It's what the system is in place for) or contact Whitegate Centre?
If you're struggling with this I fail to see why you don't take advantage of these options.

I take your point Jeanne but to be honest I didn't think the Athena had beautiful surroundings.

Went to the Athena Beach last week to hear a singer.
A bottle of Othello (ordinary one not Cellar) was 18 euros.
It is an all inclusive and we weren't so that maybe why...but ouch!
