Re: Free entrance to 12 museums to boost visits

I would like to point out that Paphos Museum is most definitely NOT open to the public yet as it is still undergoing work. Sorry!

Re: Lebanon’s call for help... donation

It is very easy to donate by putting a few extra groceries in your shopping trolley at Alpha Mega. There is a collection point beyond the tills. It broke my heart to read the list of things needed...

It is also possible to take items to the Palia Ilektriki building.

Years ago I bought some Dunlopillows from Gevorest on the Mesogi Road - and they are still comfortable. I don’t know whether or not they still stock them however.

They said on the local news on television last night that the dedicated early access for the elderly and vulnerable, between 7am and 10am, would continue.

Re: ploum! ploum!

I live in town and had cause to telephone the Fire Station last week to ask whether or not it is legal to have a bonfire. They told me it was illegal and pretty soon after turned up at a neighbour’s house to get them to put a bonfire out. I was not the person who reported the neighbour to them!

There is a travel agent (Agrotis I think) on the corner opposite Let Them Eat Cake and the Eros fountain in the old town.

Re: Looking for an old fashioned watchmaker

I have taken all my clocks and watches to Mr. Stelios who has a shop behind the Market (the road where Deloubak is). He has managed to source spare parts, regulate and fix all my clocks and watches successfully. I highly recommend him.
