Re: Trump Interview
He (Trump) just comes across as a puppy that has not yet been house trained, pi**ing all over the place with his tweets etc. If the UK ever gets seriously threatened by an enemy we can always rely on that "puppy that has not yet been house trained" to come to our rescue and save us. :roll...

Re: Oh dear, is there anyone still backing May?
Dominic,
I guessed because there are more important things to do in the day than to spend time searching for infinite details. I used the term 'guessed' so that I could be corrected if I m wrong. Are you correcting me? If not what was the point of your post?

Re: Oh dear, is there anyone still backing May?
Actually I disagree. A lot of politicians are actually do care. They could be earning a much bigger coin in the private sector. You don't enter politics if you want to get rich. Based upon the performance of many MPs I would not pay them in milk bottle tops. If they were to get a job in the private...

Re: UK Passport Application
The only problem I had was when I came to pay (not the passport offices system at fault), but "verified by visa" now wants to send an code by text to verify, and Cyta mobiles are not getting the texts, passport system timed out while trying to sort things, so had to do it all again, and u...

Re: Courts to operate in the afternoons: 11.000 pending cases
One of the problems is that time and time again you are called to court only for the case to be moved to another date. But every time you turn up with your lawyer it costs you a bundle of money.. The very fact that one attends court only for the case to be moved to another date consumes the court's...

Re: NHS to usher in changes in pharmaceuticals
Correct me if I am wrong. If any doctor, private or state writes a prescription to be filled at a private pharmacy then the charges will be as follows Charge for seeing the doctor (State or Private) to write a repeat prescription + €1.00 (for the Pharmacy to fill the prescription) + The full cost of...

Re: NHS to usher in changes in pharmaceuticals
At the moment if you are a patient at the General Hospital you can get the prescription filled at the Pharmacy attached to the Hospital for €0.50 per item. However the selection of drugs available is limited to generic types. Will this change mean that the General Hospital doctors are free to prescr...

Re: Tougher penalties for traffic offences planned
How would cruise control know if you drop from an 80 kph limit to a 50 kph limit? I understand what is meant. However it does need some driver input i.e. once you see a speed limit sign denoting a change of speed limit then switch off cruise control, let your speed drop to the level of the new spee...

Re: Brexit to be cancelled ?
HiC, It is not the principle of Brexit that is the disaster, but the way that the government is handling it. They are playing their cards so close to their chests that not even British industry etc. know what is their intentions. You may say that those who voted to leave the EU did not know what the...
