Seems illogical to me the the EAC are fined, then they pass it on to their customers who can do nothing about it ..

We have just had our gas tank filled up this morning. It was quite expensive at just over 200 euros . That is certainly the most we have ever paid. But we need to keep warm At least with my high electricity bill Trev, it is my ONLY bill, no oil,gas or logs.... But wow this winter has been a cold on...

Hi Ian, have very similar set up here, pool is on separate PV system...
We had 1100 units in credit, used 1433 units over and above that....
On average, the u/ f geo Thermal heating has been using 9.5 kWh per day..
As an experiment, have just turned it off, and will use A/C as and when to compare...

Polemian...I assume that now you are using A/C's for heating , they are only on as and when you want? With the Geo Thermal heating, it's stays on constantly, at the start of winter, the Villa stays at a constant 22/23degs. Looking back at previous winter bills, the electricity usage is around normal...

Just had a bill ( 4/Jan - 2 March) half at 9% VAT half at 19%...
All the addons meant total bill ,€401... A steep increase, and I have PV installation and Geo Thermal u/ floor heating.... definitely a cold long winter....

There is a company that does UPVC windows/ doors, from old town turn right by TimeOut Kiosk , approximately 500 MTRS on your right ....

In my case the UK response was weeks .... maybe 6...

First step ..go to www.gov.uk search for double taxation
Download form DT - Individual.
Or tel + 44 1355359022.
Once filled in you take form to Cyp tax office, leave it there for them to check...
They will call you in to get form stamped ,cost €80 each
Then post form off to UK

Re Leroy Merlin.....their tank Immersion heater comes with two Sacrificial Anodes....

By coincidence,am just fitting a new water pressure tank from Leroy Merlin..
This tank has a FLANGE fitting for the immersion,so no corroded thread to worry about in the future...
