Re: Artificial Intelligence
We already have AI helpdesks, as in 'chat' with companies. A complete and utter waste of time, trying to confer with a machine that hasn't a clue what you're talking about. Added to that, if you try to phone, it's nightmare, the long list of press 1 for this, 2 for that, etc etc, when you've gone th...

Which Book To Buy?
My granddaughter is having a baby shower in a few weeks time. She has asked that everyone who attends, should buy a book for my great granddaughter.
Question, does anyone have any suggestions for a book, that is suitable for a baby girl, but unlikely to be duplicated please?
Thanks
Jackie

It's hard to believe that it's actually Cyprus. Made me feel cold, just be watching it.

Re: Suspected Frozen Shoulder
Update.
On 12th February I will have a cortisone injection into my left shoulder, and on 28th February, I will have surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome on my right hand. Thank goodness my daughter and son will come and see to the old girl.

Polis hospital was a little gem when we lived in Drousea, far better than the General for minor things.

Re: Ancestry DNA
So the results are in,
73% England Northwest
23% Scottish
4% Welsh
Nothing unexpected there, except for 'Additional Communities were Delaware and Chesapeake Bay Settlers' was. Then seeing all the people who share some of your DNA is amazing.

Re: PM Rishi Sunak naughty
LB What a coincidence, my nephew is also a Bishop, and is a member of the House of Lords. I do know what his political leanings are, I have to say, that in that, we do not agree. I am an agnostic, so I'll wait and see, but I have to say that Christianity should be a guide to life, whether or not the...

Not often, (very rarely) do we agree, but here we do.
Not only those born here, but a stipulation of being granted residency of the UK also.

Re: PM Rishi Sunak naughty
Devil, sorry, but I would rather watch grass grow. As I see it, a man of God, should be promoting the Church, doing God's work in the community, preaching Christianity, not influencing the law of the land. I agree, that some may well have a higher intellectual level than those in the Commons, but th...

Devil, I was referring to commoners, as in you or I.
Bishops and Archbishops for example. Started off as Joe Bloggs next door, now in the House of Lords, by right, ridiculous.

Re: Ancestry DNA
Interesting, personally, at my age, I don't really care about finding long lost relatives, if they find me, so be it. DNA can help with health conditions, which may well be terminal if not diagnosed early, so markers in the DNA, can help in that respect, breast cancer for example. The other thing is...
