Devil

You list past P.M.s and their failings, and I agree with you in that, however, I do not consider that any of them were naïve. Too full of their own importance to see what is happening under their noses yes, but naïve, no.

Very interesting to note that Mrs Thatcher isn't on your list.

UK Food Prices To Increase

So we are blessed, not, we have had the most wonderful summer since 1976, and oh joy, the sun has ruined crop produce and animal feed and therefore the cost of food will increase. For Heaven's sake, why can't we cope with anything in the UK, or could it just be another excuse to make money, me scept...

When I hear it from his own lips that he calls terrorists his FRIENDS, which I have, I have no doubt that that 'friendship' means support. That's my view, and I do not intend to change it.

Corbyn DOES support terrorists, and he has a long history of that support.

Re: A Festering Wound In Labour's Side!

Granville You may be right, but we're all entitled to our views. My Son was also deployed in both invasions, so I do not consider that to be any small thing believe me, but his own sister travelled 250 miles to take part in the London march against the Iraq war. There was a lot of anti war and anti ...

Re: A Festering Wound In Labour's Side!

Hudswell Yes I have read wiki on the Afghan war, but in view of the fact that it all started with 9/11, and TB giving his full support to the US invasion, as he would, I think we can read between the lines. TB provided all sorts of excuses/reasons for British troops to be involved in the invasion of...

Jim

You forgot to mention that the USA wanted Britain to 'assist' in it's invasion. Bush said jump and Blair said how high, the rest as they say is history.

Re: Viewpoint: UK will Exit EU with no deal

Jimgward Nice to know that's your name. I have blamed the EU for all sorts of problems and still do, however, Mrs May needs to get on with the job instead of pandering to the EU, for a soft Brexit. I do not accept that the majority want a second referendum, here in Herefordshire we have a body of Br...

Re: Viewpoint: UK will Exit EU with no deal

If we have a referendum to see if we want a second EU referendum, THAT'S democracy. What do you mean 'by the people' what people and how many ? Cameron also lied, they all do, and probably always will, nothing to choose between remain liars and leave liars. I did not blame the EU, why you should thi...

Re: Hillborough Police Chief NOT being prosecuted

As I see it, this doesn't mean that should further evidence come to light, he will not face prosecution in the future. The CPS says that changes in the evidence of witnesses and the death of a third, are the reasons that the case has been dropped.

Re: Viewpoint: UK will Exit EU with no deal

Jim I don't believe anything the Government say, it's actions not words that matter. What a waste of public money (yet again) to issue these papers, why I ask myself, another prod to the remainers to shout about another referendum, let's face it, Mrs May is bending over backwards to please the EU, n...
