I didn't last that long.

Conspiracy theory is that England wanted to give Scotland a point so that they still could qualify for the later stages.

Re: New York Times scathing over Johnson

The NY Times has only reiterated what we all ' well most of us, have known for ages and has taken the opportunity of the G7 summit to regurgitate the facts. I am not sure that reference to D Cummins as a reliable source serves their purpose, especially when he has not provided any evidence to back u...

Re: Loss of TV service

I have had the same message several times. All I did was to disconnect the internet and the TV service decoder, wait 5 minutes then reconnect and reboot. After that all was well.

Re: PAFOS: Massive protest against the measures - More than 500 people

Problem with Boris is that he is often too slow to react, as has been proved time and again. Plus he doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes. Why was he ever elected in the first place. Dee He was elected on the back of the "Lets get Brexit Done." The success in the latest elections was o...

Don't they get it? This country relies a lot on tourism. A lot of jobs (probably some of the demonstrators) are reliant on tourism. Whilst Cyprus may be welcoming tourists from many countries without many conditions, it may be the case that, because of the recent poor Covid statistics here, those sa...

I understand Wembley is hosting the play-offs around that time, but Cardiff might be available.

Re: Coronavirus: Cabinet introduces Coronapass for access to venues after lockdown ends

Looking at the statistics, to me, what was the purpose of the last two weeks lockdown. There has been only marginal improvement. The new 'rules' with encourage people to have the vaccination and this can only be a good thing. Unfortunately there will be cases where the vaccination alternative is not...

My wife cuts my hair anyway.
The problem is that a lot of the 'others' don't seem to be looking after theirs, hence the increased number of infections.

Notwithstanding all the comments, HIC did the right thing and walked away. (Long may his hair grow ) . Something we all should do if we see the 'rules' being broken.

Re: Health Ministry warns epidemiological outlook fragile, situation could get out of control

Yes I agree with you completely! It's hard to understand the mentality of some people who refuse the chance of vaccination leaving themselves open to contracting the virus. Particularly when this concerns older people who are most at risk of needing hospitalisation and may also risk death. None of ...

Re: Health Ministry warns epidemiological outlook fragile, situation could get out of control

I would suggest that part of the reason for hospitals filling up is the reluctance of people to get the vaccine, for various reasons. Yes, it will not stop people getting the virus but will reduce the seriousness of the symptoms and consequently the number of hospital admissions because of the virus.
