Re: Thousands more expats to lose bank accounts after 'Brexit day' - Telegraph

Have any of the holders of UK Lloyds Bank and holders of UK Halifax received any notification that they are going to close those accounts for members living in Cyprus?

Reading various newspapers that are writing about it they mention some EU countries but oddly NOT Cyprus! Anyone know why this is?

Re: Amazon uk or Amazon DE

Why is Amazon DE the only one mentioned, don't the other EU countries have their own branches of Amazon? Why is the delivery charge from Amazon DE so expensive compared with Amazon UK? As the Cyprus Postal system seems to be broke, why don't Amazon allow you to select who delivers the goods (DHL etc...

Why does it matter to the general public what a footballer is paid? The general public do not pay anything towards a privately owned football club so no cost there. The areas around the club make money from servicing match days so the public so they win there. The footballers so called obscene wages...

its what it does to you in a few weeks/months/years time as it has not been tested long enough to see if there are any long term effects. Re: Safe Covid vaccine they say but are they sure?

In a crisis, which would be more desirable, a vaccine which works with a 95% success rate, compared with 5% without a vaccine? Which would you take if you were given the choice? No vaccine can be 100% reliable, so we must take the rough with the smooth. Devil its not whether the vaccine works and i...

the expected high volume of Covid-19 vaccine adverse drug reactions. How, why, where, when, do they expect the adverse drug reactions? This is a totally unjustified interjection. There is no proof, to date, of serious reactions from the initial trials other than headaches. As Mandy Rice Davis said ...

If the OIC of the case had listened to the evidence that was there for all to see, would Mr. Sutcliffe have murdered so many women? Sutcliffe was interviewed 9 times before his eventual arrest in Sheffield. Also his car was seen 66 times in the red light districts but the OIC failed to act on this a...

Son-in-law stepped out of our shop the other day, wearing a mask. As he did so, he was aware of a Police car crawling along at slow speed, scanning. The program also shows how poor the Met Police were at that time in terms of investigation, planning and recording of interviews and how terrible senior officers were.

Otherwise a very interesting series.
