I think there would be a high percentage of English who would vote for Scotland to leave the union ,they are tired of being blamed for everything that goes wrong in Scotland . In addition Scotland is high maintenance and who else is going to fund them , the EU , China or Russia ?

I believe that if Scotland became independent the SNP would turn it into a one party state , I think they find democracy a bit of a nuisance .

EasyJet have just been greedy , they have taken bookings when they knew they did not have the staff in place to handle the numbers.

Just to bring a bit of balance to this thread EasyJet have refunded and compensated me within 48 hours of my claim . Let’s hope TUI don’t pull my flight this morning .

In addition they were only taking package tours in the early days they were operating and would not let you book flights longer than two weeks which did not suit my requirements . I would obviously want to fly by Exeter by choice but now thankfully have that choice.

Just to clarify just in case you have not quite got the message when I booked the flights from Bristol to Paphos there were NO flights from Exeter to Paphos.

Nothing is quite that simple it is only very recently that TUI have started flying from Exeter so I did not have any choice other than to fly from Bristol . It was never a question of cost it was a question of choice . And by the way thank you for your nice comments you have obviously had a charisma...

I guess every cloud has a silver lining I have managed to book flights from Exeter airport tomorrow which is only 20 minutes away. The flight costs were very reasonable so after my compensation from easyJet I will not be out of pocket. It is with TUI so fingers crossed it is not cancelled !

Just to add to the above as my suitcases had been checked in it took over two hours to recover them plus they were dumped at the arrivals area where anyone could have taken them , then we had to take the coach back to the silverlink parking area to recover my car which was booked there for 5 weeks. ...

I had spent nearly an hour on Wednesday queuing at security at Bristol airport when easy jet messaged me to tell me my flight to Paphos was cancelled. That was within 3 hours of takeoff and totally unacceptable. I am going to screw then for every penny I can get out of them .
