I find them to be really comfy

Re: Limni Pier From Above
Very interesting indeed You will have to have a rethink on treating yourself for Christmas then !! What a dilemma Back to subject: I had a little mooch in the outer reaches of the ether and found an interesting article which sort of a bit of flesh of the life of the mine and the pier https://www.adi...

Re: Limni Pier From Above
With Christmas rapidly approaching it maybe a good opportunity for you to treat yourself to a 360 underwater drone camera to complete the other 180 or you may run the risk of the EU Trading Standards Stasi battering your door down at 3am one morning Maybe its a bit early cost wise for an underwater ...

Re: Paphos Police operation to combat traffic violations
What I cannot understand is why oh why do they announce that they are having a purge for traffic violations when if they want the public to toe the line and drive safely, they should be enforcing the law every day rather than allowing people to be careful, watch what they are doing for a few days an...

Best bit is, by the time it arrives I have forgotten what I ordered so it always comes as a little surprise
Bet you were like a 5 year old 2 weeks before Christmas waiting for your new drone

Re: Anti-fraud office probing misuse of EU funds
May be this is the tip of an iceberg and more may come to light
So your solution may not hold water
I think Cyprus is currently under the EU microscope following the recent Al Jazheera Cash for Passports revelations and ending of the scheme

Re: Islandwide taxi strike planned for Tuesday
I am unsure what the qualification are/were in Cyprus for small businesses receiving Government Covid-19 grants, however, in the UK our scheme for small businesses was super simple and payed out very quickly twice for the last 6 months and we have a smaller dollop coming at the end of this month for...

Re: EU to launch infringement procedures against Cyprus, Malta over "golden passports"
Maybe there are things going on in other countries but the documentary on Al Jahzehra it was Cyprus demonstrated on public media It seemed what been going on in Cyprus and Malta and seemed to be a slick well oiled machine of corruption in place Sort of made it easier and handed it on a plate to the ...

Re: I think this will put the cat amongst the pigeons
Reports on Friday said that despite the humiliation from the resignation, Syllouris, 67, would be getting a golden handshake in the region of €100,000 on top of the around €160,000 he received for his term as MP. Moreover, the former House president will get to keep the service limo – whose expenses...

There is never smoke without fire House president Demetris Syllouris has now resigned, as has MP Christakis Giovanis The scheme has been now closed and under investigation I would imagine the EU have reacted quickly and forced this In the video, it wa mentioned other countries ( Malta/Latvia ) were ...

Re: Cashback at the Supermarket
I would have thought that it was a no brainer to offer cash back to customers a) It replaces a service that the Banks are failing to provide with branch closures b) Cashing up at the end of the day is quicker with less cash to count and reconcile c) Less need/risk for the staff/security personnel fo...

The should, if caught, be sent to prison for 12 months for the first offence and keep doubling the sentence for subsequent offences by the same person They should get extra police with 4*4s and devises to listen for gunfire drafted in when it is "hunting/season" patrolling the known huntin...

Re: Cyprus’ first retirement village planned in Paphos
It talks about buyers having a 99 year lease but it doesn't say how much the ground rent will be or how often will there be scheduled ground rent reviews to a level at whatever the freeholder thinks is appropriate. \ It doesn't really matter to normal ( not über-rich ) people as "a friend of a...
