The links you see are from the press There is a strong link back to China to bat excretia containing strains al...

Re: BAT working on Covid-19 vaccine using tobacco leaves
I am so glad someone has mentioned the word BAT and Covid-19 in the same sentence I have been thinking when I read somewhere that Chinese eating bats on a stick or something disgusting was a smoking gun that was the start of this thing we are living through at the moment Whether this is right or may...

Re: EU Court of Justice rules against Cyprus for failure to treat urban wastewater
I have a perfect right to express my opinions, which some people cannot accept as I say things as I find them. Sorry if this sticks in your claw I have paid my Taxes in the UK for 45 years, most of which has been self employed, never claimed a penny in sick pay, unemployment pay, family allowance, n...

Re: EU Court of Justice rules against Cyprus for failure to treat urban wastewater
Exactly. Unless you are voting in Cypriot elections ,you opting out of the EU in the UK election is irrelevant. Unfortunately, Cyprus although they pay lip service to EU regulations, will only enforce them selectively here! The whole sewerage saga is a nightmare for Paphos, as people who were here ...

Re: EU Court of Justice rules against Cyprus for failure to treat urban wastewater
Typical of Cyprus, wants the good things, grants for this that and the other but wont adhere to any EU legislation that all other members are adhering to
Same applies to most of the new eastern bloc EU joiners

Re: Greenhouse Gas Emissions too high

Varosha
Someone needs to stand up against Erdoğan, the Turks have been making rumblings about redeveloping the area as it is a waste Some beautiful & upsetting pictures of Varosha are in the paper https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8009577/Buildings-lie-abandoned-used-Cyprus-tourism-hotspot.html
