Re: Heart in mouth

I took and passed the IAM driving test in February 1984, and from passing my driving test in 1974. I have never had a accident where I was to blame, yes people have hit me, but I have never hit another car. I also have a forklift operator certificate as well. All ways look as far as you can see even...

Re: Heart in mouth

Here's what a engish police officer said about some drivers.
" Some drivers get in the car start the engine then open there skull take there brain out and put it on the passenger seat, they then close there skull and start to drive the car"
I think that happens a lot here.

I have a new quote for a 3k pv system for the house, the price is 4100 euro plus vat.

If you can turn off the supply to the hot tank and hot supply to the house and see if it stops.
If it stops then it is on the hot side.

Re: Good news for people installing photo-voltaic systems....

I have been back to a PV installer that I spoke to in Febuary to see what the situation is now with the EAC. I was told I can install a 3Kw system which is what I was after in Febuary. There doing a new quote as some of the parts have gone up since Febuary, if it is not to much then I will go ahead ...

Homebrewing

Do any of the members make home made wines? I do and find it hard to get some of the things I need here on the Island, there seems to be no home brew shops here in Paphos. When I came back in April I had Yeast, Yeast nutrient and Camden tablets with me in my case for stock. https://www.youtube.com/s...

Ball joints

One of the ball joints on my car is failing, and it's only been in 21 months. I have been out and purchased a new one, after getting home I thought I am going to look inside the new joint. I pulled the spring clip off and the rubber gator to find a small blob of grease no bigger than 13mm on one sid...

Re: Clampdown coming on traffic violations by drivers of rentals

Last August I had a hire car in the UK and took out separate cover with https://www.worldwideinsure.com/car-hire-insurance.htm.

It only cost me £42.35 for 10 days cover.

Worth looking at Paul.

Sat nav

I came back to Cyprus on Sunday; during my stay in the UK I purchased a new sat nav. Much to my surprise it has Cyprus mapping in it, I was expecting to have to buy the Cyprus maps. The unit is a Garmin drive 52 and at £90 in Halfords, a lot cheaper than buying here in Cyprus. So if you’re coming ov...
