24 letters Al, no duped s - it's just written differently whether it's in the middle or on the end of a word. Three 'i's though so still could do with a few more consonants!

Re: Cypriot ID Card
You are right about Cypriot heritage entitlements. My sons were both born the UK with UK passports but with a Cypriot dad, were both issued with a Cypriot birth certificate and Cypriot ID on arriving here aged 8 and 3. The new Cyprus ID card look very different to the one that you have Dee so after ...

Re: Citizens advice bureau
As there is already one in the main post office (although not full services) and in the centre of town, perhaps somewhere between Kate Paphos and Peyia would be more helpful? I don't see much sense in having three within a short distance of one another when other areas are not served at all.

Re: Citizens advice bureau
Also being a bit pedantic - they really aren't the same as the UK Citizens Advice Bureaux which are predominantly just that (advice). These are service centres where government related transactions are carried out. Most people I know here actually call them Citizens Sevice Centres - it's only the oc...

Re: Citizens advice bureau
I went around 2pm last week and it was almost empty! Don't forget if there are a lot of people there, they may be queuing for a different thing. There are different numbering/queueing systems for each service so if you are the only one out of 20 people looking to change vehicle ownership, you may be...

Re: New Structure Opposite The Mall
I think the trade off here though will be to bring the beauty of the archeology to the masses. If people don't know about it - they generally won't care too much about it. Many people don't know how to access the sites or even know they are there - especially the one across from the mall. I think it...

Yes it is to join the archaeological sites on both sides of the road so it is going to pass over the top. This was another entrant https://archinect.com/eparchitects/proj ... ato-paphos

This was the winning entrant to the design competition for the unification walkway. Not sure if this was the final design but if you scroll down you can see the idea and artists impressions of this one here http://www.cy-arch.com/unification-of-archaeological-sites-at-kato-paphos-a-prize-in-architec...

Just an addition to the above, your UK NI contributions count towards the 3 year rule so are transferable if you have 3 current years NI immediately on moving here. You would in that case qualify for a medical card sooner - subject to income being below the €15,400 without dependants limit.

I have Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, Chrome and Edge on my pc. I too have problems with programmes that open with Firefox which crashes almost every time. Re: Best car hire premium insurance cover!
Cheshire Lad, Trev is correct, they will still block out the excess amount. If you have an acccident or damage the car, they will take the cost of this from your excess. You then go to the company that you have your excess insurance cover with, given them copies of the charges/invoices and claim it ...

It's a very nominal fee for this. If you are both able to attend in person - do it yourself using one of the onsite agents at the land registry.

Most supermarkets have them. The large Paps in town have a selection, Lemba Bazarre and Jumbo upstairs where the cushions are. Oh and IKEA who will deliver.
