Re: It looks like the nice outspoken lady has been given her marching orders...

We should be up in arms about everyone's children being killed or attacked - not just those who happen to have been attacked in UK.... that's my point, Jackie.

I thought you had spoken up on this subject once before but given your reply, maybe I'm getting you mixed up with another forum member?

Re: Threat level reduced

I see Theresa May has just helped reduce her own threat level.

Not much hope for our Brexit negotiations if she's gone Weak and Wobbly already.

Re: It looks like the nice outspoken lady has been given her marching orders...

It's not just our children..... Don't forget the 64 Syrian kids massacred in the bus bombing last month as they were being rescued from Aleppo. And how many girls were taken away from their families in Africa? No good getting ants in our pants only when it arrives on our own doorstep.... Kids are be...

Re: Divine retribution?

Surely it's about animals dying for the pleasure of humans, of which big game hunting, and fox hunting are just two examples. If anyone can tell me the pleasure they gain from the experience I would like to know. All the excuses trotted out by the pro hunting fraternity mean nothing, it's for the p...

Re: All About Automated Roti Making Device In India

Well at least this one isn't trying to push those little blue tablets in our direction.... unlike the post which I saw just before heading to bed in the early hours of this morning 😉

I see Dominic has dealt with that one nicely!

Re: It looks like the nice outspoken lady has been given her marching orders...

I wonder how much hatred and drivel she would have spouted about had she not become a minor celebrity due to the Apprentice TV show?

As long as someone is paying she will keep spouting..... Let's hope the money runs out soon, or the airtime.... I'm not bothered which comes first.

I'm a real sucker for flash mobs - I've just spent the last 40 minutes going through loads of them after clicking on that link :-)

Now, I've had my little luxury of a Friday night Gin - it's almost time for curry and Corrie.....

It looks like the nice outspoken lady has been given her marching orders...

I'm guessing she's overstepped the mark one too many times. Good riddance, I say... Broadcaster Katie Hopkins is to leave her show on LBC "immediately", the national talk radio station has said. The presenter, who first rose to prominence as a contestant on The Apprentice in 2007, joined L...

Re: Manchester Arena bombing - The Politics

In fairness to the Daily Telegraph, they published the above article. I haven't seen anything elsewhere though, which is bizarre. Given that one of the main complaints people have is that Muslems don't condemn these actions, why don't the media publicise it when they do? When the Moslem community r...

Re: Divine retribution?

Exactly Dominic, vermin and other animals for which it is necessary to be culled are normally dealt with in a manner that is not classed as "sport" as they like to refer to fox hunting. Just where is the skill involved in that particular sport? Animals which are deemed necessary to cull ar...

Re: Manchester Arena bombing - The Politics

So as part of this integration discussion - how many UK immigrants currently residing in Cyprus are fully conversant with the Greek language that they can read, write and hold a full conversation?

Integration has to work all ways if those are the rules you want to lay down.....

Good post? More like scraping the bottom of the barrel - because we all know where this is heading. Just remember, those of you who have spoken out wholeheartedly against fox hunting. The conservatives want to bring it back and Mrs May is firmly in favour of it! http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/...

Re: Divine retribution?

My dad used to keep hens when he was in his teens. A fox came and killed some of them.... So, he replaced them and also got a pig and some geese. No more dead hens after that.

Re: Bringing purchases back from the North

Correct, it is not a "border" - it's a crossing point at a UN controlled buffer zone, which probably explains why there are no allowances as such. Bags do get searched and although I only ever go through with a small handbag which contains my phone and reading glasses and very little else....

Well that's when you really do have to be sensible, if using a public computer. Obviously some folks weren't being careful enough! I never leave my email logged in at all mainly because I don't want Google snooping at everything I do. I don't, or very rarely access my emails outside of the home and ...

My settings keep me logged in to the forums I visit. It's much easier than having to login each time I've closed down my phone or laptop. I know that some forums also don't allow guest users to click through links in forum posts without being logged in as a member. Will that also apply here now the ...
