Any reports of allergic reactions to the vaccine? What can we expect should they happen?

Who knows if Les is resident in Cyprus. Many contributors to PL are not resident in Cyprus and might not be immigrants at all. Just saying. Having said that, I think he is a Cypriot resident.

Re: Best free Office download for windows 10

Just bought a new laptop and want to know if I can and how to move a legit copy of Microsoft Office 2016 from my old to new machine. Just to update on my situation. Went into my Microsoft account from my new laptop and there was notification of my previous purchase of Microsoft Office 2016. Next to...

They are reporting a 70% protection 2 weeks after the first injection but no-0ne is telling us what protection level is expected after the 2nd injection.

I have received such a letter from Cynergy but it took 3 weeks to get here. I know of one other person who has received the same letter.

There is no need for us to know the name of the establishment. We are all masters of our own destiny, so if upon entering an establishment you find it is not abiding by the rules then simply turn around and walk out.

Seems a bit hefty just for not having distance markings and instructions on how to wear masks. OK if the police found people not wearing masks or not adhering to social distancing but that is not what the report says

Re: Coronavirus: health minister does not rule out total lockdown (Update 2)

Lockdowns will not solve the problem . we have had a total lockdown, we have had region lockdown and we have had all the restrictions possible thrown at us and the figures are still rising. All lockdowns do is to slow the issue down but once it is relaxed we are back to square one. The only way to ...

Dominic, My posting was based upon the following report in last Thursday's Cyprus Mail which seems to contradict you. However I accept that more recent reportings may not be based upon this. << Two more people have died of Covid-19, raising the death toll to 54, while the health ministry reported 34...

Re: Coronavirus: Dramatic appeals to follow protocols amid lockdown fears

Of the 416, over 200 were originally identified via the Rapid Testing scheme. It's worth pointing this out as some people were saying that that was pointless. Clearly it wasn't. The reason for the increase in cases seems is partly because they are doing more tests. However, that won't affect the de...

Re: More COVID measures - partial lockdown with no limits on movement within province.

Let me get this straight. (Looking for confirmation or otherwise) If you are exempt then you need to have a Covid Test for each crossing of the district border. (I know there are other requirements etc.) If you are not exempt but are only crossing the border for a one-off visit to a hospital or clin...

Sounds like residents of Pissouri cannot come to Paphos to do their shopping as they are in Limassos District.

Re: Coronavirus: Incoming flights

These test are 20 minute tests. Doesn't get much better than that. You will know before you board the flight, or are denied embarkation. what happens if only one member of a family tests positive? possible a child, A normal family would then decide to stick together and stay with the child....no br...
