Well the general worked for me and if it wasn't for them I may not be here to tell the tale. I admit paphos general is not a 6 star hotel with nurses, but the care given is excellent . Likewise also impressed with the speed and efficiency of treatment at Paphos General A&E after arriving by ambulance with a head injury last year - very quickly assessed, treated and admitted to the ward by the caring staff. In fact I have always been more than happy with the outcome of my visit...

Indeed that is correct, but when Cyprus joined the EU in 2004 exchange rates were already being quoted in Euros as well as Cyprus Pounds.

Looking at currency exchange transactions I did during 2020 it averaged out at 1.14.
When I moved to Cyprus in 2004 the exchange rate was 1.12.
