Well the general worked for me and if it wasn't for them I may not be here to tell the tale. I admit paphos general is not a 6 star hotel with nurses, but the care given is excellent . Looking at currency exchange transactions I did during 2020 it averaged out at 1.14.
When I moved to Cyprus in 2004 the exchange rate was 1.12.

To get back to the subject of Bank Accounts.. If you get notice that your UK bank is terminating your account then where can you safely move your money too..
