Re: Patio Door Wheel replacement

The place opposite Papatoniou in town did ours, Came out same day, from and replaced roller, cleaned and rebalanced. Not expensive. It's the one just below street level that sells doors and windows.

Re: HAIL AND THUNDER/LIGHTNING KISSONERGA

We were caught out in the open, walking the dogs! We found shelter under a tree! I ran back to the house to collect the car, We were all soaked to the skin and yes, the hailstones do hurt! The thunder scared the dogs, who kept looking for reassurance, which, of course, none was forthcoming! We all g...

Re: Is S1 redundant ?

Don't forget it is not just the 1.7%. There are still presciption charges,, specialist fees, tests to be paid for. However you can choose your own Dr from the list and your hospital of choice.

MOH is over 80, and we were told that new insurers are reluctant to take on over 80's!! We are with Abbeygate and pay €430 for a 1600cc. Nissan Qashqai.

Re: NHS to usher in changes in pharmaceuticals

Only this week, we have been assured by the Cypriot Government that the status quo will remain, Brexit it or no Brexit ! It appears that the contribution is coming from everyone with the exception of a few people. All on the MOH site. I assume if you wish to have private insurance, that will be up t...

Re: NHS to usher in changes in pharmaceuticals

It is going to be interesting to see who is covered and who is not by this new "service" and how I will impact on those, like me and many others, who do not currently qualify...and through necessity use the Private system...I currently take a couple of medications on a daily basis which a...

Drink driver?

Someone has posted on FB about an accident in Peyia is regarding a hit and run. The vehicle they believe, could be a 4 x 4 maroon coloured, driven by an older man who wears a bobble hat. I seem to remember a while ago, someone mentioning on here that they had been stationary when they were hit by a ...

I have an appointment at Iasis this coming week. I shall be coming from Mesogi road towards the General hospital. I know the Iasis is somewhere opposite Debenhams, but how do I find the car park? I know it is round the back of the hospital. Many thanks in advance.

Re: Gesy mystery

My understanding is that, as someone else mentioned, EVERYONEwill need to register with the tax office. I believe the 1.7% will be taken from almost everyone, in one form or another. It is akin to U.K. National Insurance, where all contribute, but you can choose to go private also. I would imagine t...

"How fast was the KIA going to overturn a Land rover" How do we know that the Land rover didn't overturn when it hit the KIA? We don't. That is why it is being investigated.

Re: OSYPA are no more!

The Nicosia route was popular. People working , cheaper than petrol! It was also handy for people needing the hospital who needed to go for tests or to visit someone. The free bus, I was told, is only for cancer patients. Handy for Ikea too!

Re: TAXISnet return

You can visit the tax office and get help there. Take you user name and password. They will help you on their computer once you are logged in, to fill it in correctly. You will be able to access it for future reference then.
