Re: Over 70s driving licence renewal extra documents required

No one there knocked on the door, (it was locked) a man came out, , brought the forms outside, filled them for us, we alrea...

Driving licence medical.

Since GESY announced there would be heavy penalties for any GESY registered GP giving out medicals for driving licences, does anyone know of a private Dr who will do it? We went to Dr Mala last year, but I can't get a reply. She is registered GESY, but I believe she still has her private practice. A...

Re: Tax for Gesy.

Jim, Only a couple of weeks ago, we saw our accountant. He asked for an exemption from Gesy, which I got from the link mentioned several times, gave them to him, straight away he said there is nothing to pay. I think this is one for you to sort! Contact the email, you will get an exemption letter fa...

Jurahound, My son has had it, so has my grandson. They do not live in the same county, and have not seen each other for a long time. My plumber told me his son in U.K. has been diagnosed and my accountant has cancelled our appt because his son here in Cyprus has been diagnosed. So I am wearing my ma...

Cheap calls to UK.

Sometime ago someone mentioned a firm they had used since being here for cheap calls to UK. I currently have a red plan with Cyta that expires in November. They are increasing the price from €11 to €14+ monthly, which is a big jump! So I am looking elsewhere! I have two people I contact regularly wh...

Re: Suppliers of granite/quartz worktops

You can get aluminium and polished concrete now. I think whatever you get it will have extensive wear and tear, especially around the sink area. I notice that RCS offer a granite cleaning job. The before and after pictures look good. Mine have become dull around the sink area too. I use granite crea...

We have just been for the first time to A Gioergiou above Bionic on Hellados ave. Entrance is on the left hand side. He has just joined GESY so you can get a referral from your Dr or go private. His equipment is bang up to date, no looking in a box and getting air blown into your eye! Office is imma...

We went to tax office in Paphos today. Waste of time! The normal entrance was closed. We went to the front, major renovations going on. We went back to the car park area and were guided to a door further down. Took the lift to first floor. Plenty milling around , ignoring us. Asked this woman who do...

Paps started offering this new service about 2/3 weeks ago and I find it very useful. Minimum cashback is 20e maximum is 80e. I don't understand Darrow saying they have offered it for years... I hope other supermarkets follow. I used it about 10 years ago. Perhaps they stopped it for a while and ha...
