Who on Earth brings £3000 CASH with them these days...why would you.?
Seems suspicious to me, and as mentioned, how come the burglar's got lucky?.....

Mate of mine Holidays in Vegas every year an takes a bundle of cash with him, never ever takes a credit card, he likes a flutter and when his spent the cash that's it, if he had a credit card he would be tempted to spend more.

Re: Paphos marina study to look at option to include cruise ship facilities

A cruise ship and Marina facility for Paphos would be excellent. It would bring in huge cash flow. IMHO cruise ships make a big percentage of their cash by selling excursions, so if they dock in Paphos, the ship would be looking to bus people further out Troodos Mountains/ Larnaca/ Nicosia, where t...

Re: 20 Years - that's how long it can take to make trade deals

In last night's debate Johnson not only reminded us of Peter Sellers' "Party Political Speech", but also what a coward he is in failing to criticise Trump for his despicable tirade against the Ambassador and Theresa May, and refusing to give a yes or no as to whether he would replace the Ambassador...

Re: Paphos marina study to look at option to include cruise ship facilities

Theres is a Terminal at Limassol, no need for one at Paphos, it's only half an hour drive away, plenty of time to bus people into the town for an excursion, the money would be better spent, improving the town's amenities for all tourists.

Enjoyed reading that Dominic, once you leave the Towns, the friendliness of the Cypriots never amazes me, usually the ones with the least are the most friendly, when the crossing points opened up, my wife and I would cross over on a Sunday with just a picnic and a map, and drive all over the place, ...

Re: Campaign to promote Paphos as domestic tourism destination

As with flights, the secret to getting a cheap hotel booking (or rather a good hotel cheap) is to book yonks in advance. If you book at or around the time you intend to stay, you will get screwed. A couple of years ago we stayed at an on-airport hotel in Brussels. We booked months in advance and pa...

Well, WHL as far as I can see south Cyprus Republic is the rest of the island - from S Nicosia south.
I’m not getting into a political discussion with you.

Dee
For someone who lives here, its a shame you don't know its correct name  No such name as South Cyprus Republic.
