Re: More cats than people in Cyprus

Can you imagine the outcry? It'll never happen! As a cat-lover (but not owner) myself, I believe a far more humane approach would be to spey and neuter (correct words?) the current generation of strays, and continue to do so on an ongoing basis, so that no future generations of today's strays are b...

The only way to control the problem, is to get professional people in and have a cull.

£ lower then the euro....works for me Meaning that you're located in UK (I guess, as your location isn't revealed) and that your main income stream is derived from the €urozone, perhaps? Or that you're a wannabee Warren Buffet, hoping to make a personal fortune out of millions of other people's fin...

Re: Tenders for traffic cameras to be announced

CCTV is a fact of life as are traffic cameras...and whilst it is a shame to have them....they are needed and do assist the police in many circumstances... Please illustrate where CCTV is needed in Cyprus. Are there trouble hot-spots you know of, that I don't? Rowdiness at night as people are turfed...

I can sympathise with Poppy, it's all a matter of feeling that you've been ripped off. The small print, which we hardly ever read, always provides a 'get out'. WHL You really are objectionable at times. Jackie Its was my opinion, that for the sake of 8 quid was it really worth the moaning, when the ...

Re: Take your pet on Cobalt Airways

There is nothing more pungent than a baby or toddler's filled nappy it permeates and it's beyond awful when you are sat in close proximity on a plane and then you hit turbulence nightmare 😩 With a baby you can go to the loo and change the nappy, trying to compare this with a dog taking a dump is ri...

We flew Aegean from Heathrow to Larnaca in April. The woman in front of us had two small dogs with her in the cabin, she had also paid for the seat next to her to accommodate the dogs.
were the dogs in a pet carrier or were they on the seat?

Re: Take your pet on Cobalt Airways

There is no way I would travel with an airline that allows pets in the cabin. Years ago I was flying from New York to Vegas, when I sat down I noticed the lady next to me had a dog on her lap...I wasn't happy, because it was a little snappy thing, after take off it started growling and snapping at ...

Re: Would You Fly On a Pilotless Plane

I think you will find that a pilot will not fly a plane with a complete power failure - Not the planes of today anyway when the hydraulics go off it is curtains - i was always told that the old turbo props could be landed with all engines out as they were designed to glide without the use of flaps ...
