Re: Shortage of medicines

I think when Darrow said " General do not do GESY printed prescriptions! " he was referring to the fact that the General Hospital Pharmacy do not accept Gesy prescriptions.. Certainly the doctors there give out the prescriptions to take to a private pharmacy That is what I meant Trev. The specialis...

Shortage of medicines

Just been for first lot of medication on the GESY. First of all, the specialist printed off the prescription but told MOH to go for an INR test with the Dr before changing to the now available more expensive medication. She said we could get the prescription at the General until 31st August. I point...

No, NOT at all funny and should be BANNED completely in public service vehicles. My wife has various allergies and any hint of cigarette smoke could cause her to have a reaction. You could say the same thing about cat hair. I like the new avatar by the way. :) I don't agree that cat hair is the sam...

Re: Tax office "service"

You haven't yet learned that the Cypriots are never wrong. The more you complain the worse it gets. Just accept you wont win and try a calmer approach. I wasn't mad. I was calm. Since I only got about 4 words out before she interupted me. I was exasperated, but I can stand my ground without losing ...

Tax office "service"

Logging on to my taxisnet to check my temp tax return and finding a mistake, made by the senior assessor who kindly filled in our form last year, I found I was unable to alter the form. I suspected I would need to submit a completely new form but wanted to confirm if this was so. After spending half...

Re: Buildings Insurance

We use Status. Our town house on a complex was unoccupied but the building insurance was/is paid jointly by everyone. The contents only was covered by the amount we chose. Approx €40 p.a. We also have our property we live in covered by them, but we haven't had to make a claim. I thought it is reason...

Re: Referral Letter by doctor

I would suggest and hope that if it is done at the Paphos General it is not a serious op. I would still have to think twice about having a heart op there I am curious! Is this opinion from personal experience, hearsay or assumption? MOH as had nothing but excellent care at the General medically spe...

Gesy saga again!

Visited general hospital this morning for a pre arranged appt with specialist for MOH. All was well, but when the specialist went to enter the details, nowhere to be found.! He told us to make appt for September but, if we weren't registered by then he wouldn't be able to see us. This prompted a 170...

If you should happen to visit the vets, they will do them too. If you are in for some other reason, and ask, our vet doesn't charge. I do my dogs myself but you do need to know what you are doing.

Re: General Hospital

We went yesterday late morning and the place was heaving. It was difficult to find a space in the rear car park and people were parking in non-parking places. Luckily we were visiting someone and didn't have to join the queues of people trying to make appointments. We also went around 7a.m, for blo...

Re: landlord/tennant dispute.

Have recently been looking at how well rental leases compare and even some of them are not as they seem - not spoken to a Lawyer but do have direct contact with some rental agents who are often queried over tenants rights when the landlord wants his property back. So the fact there is no lease, ren...
