Friends delayed from departing LCA to LGW on Easyjet today until revised departure on Saturday - certainly screwed up their plans.

Re: Tiger nuts

Tiger nuts are used by Carp fisherman in the main as a bait and attractant.
In addition they are also popular for human consumption.
No ridicule from me.

Re: Pistachio nuts

They are a pain to sift through as so many go mouldy very quickly, saying that they are tasty and once you get used to green fingertips can be worth the effort. Eventually I had to tell him we didn't like the...

Re: Shops prepare for Black Friday rush for bargains

I looked at one website I regularly use for online purchases, to see if I could get a Black Friday bargain and the same item I had delivered last week has gone up by €2 a box.

Re: Had some Rain

I was at Secret Valley yesterday leaving at about 1430, some thunder around and it started spitting as we drove down the valley and that developed into steady rain by the time we got past Aphrodite Hills, steady rain all the way through to just the other side of the Tunnel. Then it was dry all the w...

Re: Remembrance service

The Bugle is tough to play and the Buglers can get affected by the occasion. Just yesterday prior to the Crystal Palace v Spurs game at Selhurst Park the Last Post and Reveille were played by a lone bugler from one of the Light Infantry units. The occasion obviously got to the guy who struggled in t...

Re: Internet provider.Paphos.

Whilst I am not in Pafos district I have used a WISP supplier called Cosmos for the last 6 years in preference to Cytanet who provided a terrible service locally. I have a 50Mb service for €60 a month. They run on the Cablenet backbone.
