Re: Cyprus has the highest prices in Europe for milk, cheese and eggs

Here is my opinion- if 50,000 cows were kept indoors; The milk output would soon after a period of time drop to a level where the feed to supply would not be sustainable. Therefore I also do not see how it is possible to have 50,000 cows locked up. Look at the size of a cow.

Re: Tourism season means increased crime

It is good to raise all these points here. However how many Holidaymakers read this forum whilst out having a great holiday? It would be good if landlords left a notice available in the property with warnings and advice.

Surely it cannot be as bad as the Uk and other European countries? Still one of the safest places to live in my opinion.

4D is the Licence Number it is and always will be the Licence Number. Irrespective of any opinions on here. Carry on with your debates discussions, whatever you say it will change nothing. Number 5 is YOUR Cypriot I.D. Number it will NOT change. Every time you renew your Driving Licence the Number a...

In my opinion by the Govt offering any financial assistance = Admission of guilt. I would suspect any decent lawyer will jump on this with a vengeance.

It is no 4...I have had a new licence here TWICE and each time the no 4 number is changed. The number 5 is your Cyprus ID number and will not change.

The only problem re Pharmacies is that not all are registered with GESY. So the prescription will only go to the registered ones and appear when you give them your details.

I found that out of all the systems, that "Currency Fair" were and are the best. They only charge £3.00 per transaction. We are with Natwest and have no trouble at all.

A soldier.

The Soldier stood and faced God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shining, Just as brightly as his brass. Step forward now, Soldier, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek? To My Church have you been true?' The soldier squared his shoulders and said,...

If you have a MEU3 and are not an EU citizen, then it will have an expiry date that is 10 years from date of issue. If you are an EU citizen, then it will not have an expiry date.
I was led to believe that Non-EU citizens were issued with a MEU 2, not a MEU 3. Am I wrong?

Yes, I popped in there today and had a FREE lunch. It was very tasty and I got free wine with it as well. The owners are very nice. I shall definitely be calling in there for the odd snack from time to time

Phillipos supermarket has several adds in the entrance window. One or two properties to let. Also in the free local Paphos Post, there are adverts from Private landlords.

The Six Best Doctors in the World

Worth reading. Steve Jobs was the co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Apple Corporation. A billionaire ($10.2B), he died in 2011 after losing his battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He posted the following observation just prior to his death: The World's Six Best Doctors. I reached the pinnacle of success in...
