Travel Insurance for medical conditions

I'm struggling to get a quote for travel to the UK as I have a pre existing medical condition. Anyone got any recommendations? Abbeygate have declined, as have Atlantic. Online searches seem to be for UK residents. Joyce

UK Restrictions

Under present restrictions, would I be allowed to stay at my daughter's home in the UK if I travelled over in the next couple of weeks?

Re: Hospital Referrals

I thought I had a 12 month referral letter too as date expired February 2021 and there was a number 12 in one of the boxes. Apparently the number 12 is number of visits, they expect you to need one a month. Due to complications I had exceeded that in 6 months and was forced to pay €25 to see surgeon...

Armou

How far is Armou from Paphos? Are there any 'must see' places to visit in the area? My daughter has just booked a villa there for a holiday this summer but I don't know anything about the area. Joyce

Do any hotels offer short (weekend or 2/3 days mid week) breaks in August on an all inclusive basis? Joyce

Re: Problem with fitted gasfire

I have a balanced flue gas fire and use the tall gas bottles. Occasionally the glass door gets sooty and I've always been given to understand it was due to 'dirty' gas. Sounds possible to me as I don't get it with all bottles. Joyce

Re: Hotel recommendations

It's that time of the year again and once more looking for recommendations. Up to now we have tried Y&P Latchi, The Mill at Kakopetria, Paradisos Hills, Ambelikos Hotel and Droushia Heights Hotel. Anyone been anywhere nice recently and want to pass on any recommendations please? I'm not familiar...

Re: Meu 1 is sufficient

They ask for 5 years bank statement: giving them 6 statements is hardly 5 years statements. I copied all 5 years monthly statements. I took copies of 5 years bank statements and they kept the originals and left me with the copies, which I wasn't expecting. They also took my photo at the time..........

Re: Hotel recommendations

We had a run down to Latchi and a walk around the harbour then along the coast but hit the roadworks and the roads just got narrower and narrower and ended up on a dirt road so thought I'd better turn back as didn't have a 4x4 vehicle! The area surrounding the hotel was absolutely stunning and wish ...

Re: Hotel recommendations

i know the Droushia Heights Hotel was not the traditional type I wanted but the Vasilias Nikoklis did not have a room when we wanted to go, and the one in the centre of Paphos had shocking reviews from people who had stayed there. Very happy with our final choice so thank you for the recommendations...

Re: Hotel recommendations

Opted for the Droushia Heights Hotel in the end and was very pleased I did. Got upgraded to a suite with a sea view when we checked in, rooms were very clean, in fact the whole hotel was. Comfortable beds, wonderful views in all directions and great food meant a very enjoyable stay, would certainly ...

Re: Hotel recommendations

I've just looked at the website for the Droushia Heights Hotel and they don't seem to have any twin rooms, which is what I need. I've emailed them anyway to check.

Hotel recommendations

Any recommendations for 'traditional' type hotels in the west of the island please? Looking for one night stay somewhere with good food and pleasant hosts!
