Re: Yellow weather warning: storms, hail on the way (Updated)

Was watching the UK weather forecast last night and they actually mentioned Cyprus, referring to the SEVERE storms circulating over Greece, Turkey and Eastern Mediteranean.

Re: ACCU Weather

William Morris I have always known I am special but even I can't see the weather in Paphos from my window in Christchurch. (10 degrees and murky if you are interested 😊). Why would you want to see Paphos weather if you are in NZ or, maybe, Hampshire?? No, I am not interested. All weather forecasts ...

From 10 to 60%!! That is a lot of water. 🀀🀀

Still, it gives you all something to discuss.

No because it only applies if YOU are overtaking.

I read the article and I thought that it was very straightforward.

Re: People trapped in their cars in Troodos due to snow

We spent Xmas in the Troodos and returned before the snow due to work commitments (boo hoo) but have been up there many times and rescued idiots countless times with our trusty 4x4, tow rope and good old fashioned comon sense - just like we do on the beach in the Summer!! You certainly do get about...

Re: Road traffic Chaos in the Old Town this morning and the new Markideon

We notice the changes everytime we return and it is all good.

Really enjoy going around the "old town" . All the new bars, eateries as well as the new shops opening up. A lot of the old workshops are still there. Carpenters, plumbers, tailors, etc still enjoying some good business.

Re: Road traffic Chaos in the Old Town this morning and the new Markideon

Of course it is a credit to the town of Paphos. Personally speaking, I never doubted it.

Some people never give the local authority a fair chance, everything is so negative with them.

As the parent of a type one, may I say, we have never encountered any issues with equipment of any kind here in the UK. Always had the best and latest.

Re: More rain and thunderstorms expected tonight

Rising water levels in the Kouris reservoir have raised the possibility of it overflowing, which has not occurred since 2003, Cybc said.

Just repeating what the article said, I am no expert!!

Dominic wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 10:27 am Yes I read somewhere they were saying that Kouris Dam is now higher than it was at the same time last year. This is good news. However, it is still less than 10% full.
It does look like a contradiction.

It is less than 10% full but in danger of overflowing. Very odd.
