What are the links and can you use one mobile to get two safepasses, i.e one for me and one for my wife so we can print them off and us...

Re: Mesogi Road question

I believe yes no problem, but coming up hill , no way you have to go via the well woman clinic or Emba gymnasium. Big detour ! No you don't. Just turn right at Bionic, then left. Dominic is right. If you turn left thinking you will be able to carry on the back road past Lidl, you can't. So you shou...

Re: Limited parking at Paphos General Hospital

Has anyone been to the General today, if so, was there any problem parking please. I have to go tomorrow. Thanks Alan I was there this morning, not by choice, and it was difficult to get a car parking space in any of the 3 car parks in front of the hospital, although it eased off a bit later in the...

You just can't resist a little 'dig' can you.. :-( I just thought that you might have foreseen that I was trying to elicit whether the lady h...

Re: Changes to GESY presciptions

PhotoLady, Your experience seems only to refer to repeat prescriptions and the local service regarding repeat prescriptions was suspended in our village, I suspect after you left Cyprus. More complicated situations meant more regular visits to a doctor at the General. You were the exception that pro...

Re: Changes to GESY presciptions

Don't forget that those of us from UK with a S1 are having some of their expenses paid by the UK government. Not all of GESY income comes from tax. Some come via specialist charges or via other services

Re: Changes to GESY presciptions

This is the first I have heard of this, and my pharmacist didn't mention it a couple of weeks ago. But maybe it didn't affect me so he saw no need to mention it. What a difference in what we pay now, from when it was 50cent an item at the Hospital Pharmacy Would you really want to go back to the 'g...
