EAC online account

How do you download a "Connection & Consumption Certificate" from the EAC site. I've registered and on the "My Accounts" page selected my single account. Scrolling down, you get to: "To issue a Connection and Consumption Certificate select the period you are interested i...

Re: Where to go for Brunch

Omikron - booking essential for Saturday and Sunday. Food is excellent. Nice atmosphere. There is a free car park down the road to the left of the resto.

Bon Vivant on Kennedy Square is also very good. Opposite Second Cup.

Re: GESY Registration

The white medical card is NOT an S1. You get it from the Ministry of Health. When completing the online form for entry to Gesy using an S1 route, there is no mention of a white medical card. But unless you get one and send a copy to the MoH, your application will sit in someones office forever. So, ...

Trev. It's considered far less effective in older people. In the UK you can only get it up to 79yo. It's a one-off jab, by the way, although in some countries you get two doses, 6 months apart.

Re: Upgraded swimming pool legislation expected in parliament

Don't hold your breath on this. A few weeks ago ago I was clearing out some old paperwork and found an article from Cyprus Property News (as I recall), stating almost word for word the same thing, that a new swimming pool bill was going before parliament in the autumn and it was hoped that the new l...

Re: Gesy Registration Help

Have you sent a copy of your White Medical Card? The online application makes no mention of this in the checklist of things to send, but unless you get one and send a copy, your application will remain in limbo.

Re: Water Dispenser Query?

We have a similar system which we bought in Superhome to the one for sale in Premier Electric using tap water - works out very economical and just top up as required. 'No more lifting of heavy water bottles, just fill your water cooler filter bottle up yourself, as and when needed'. https://www.pre...

Yes, all bottles fit. We've had one of these dispensers for a year and used all different-sized bottles. Ours is made by Otto, bought from SHC. I think Premier Electrical sell the same model.

Re: S1 REISTRATION WITH GESY

If you do it online on the GESY site (which is straightforward), you will see there is no mention of a white medical card in the check list of what to send to GESY with the S1 and other important documentation (copy of MEU1, MEU3 etc). You must include a copy of the card or otherwise your applicatio...

Re: Strong Wood Glue

Gorilla glue is probably the best, but you must follow the instructions on the pack to get the best out of it. And don't use too much at a time, as it expands.
