An e-bike cannot be shipped by air because of the battery.

Re: phone calls from other countries
I receive these phone calls almost every day in the last 10 days. Surprisingly, they don't want to speak German with me.

Re: Islandwide taxi strike planned for Tuesday
To be eligible for lockdown compensation as a self employed person, you have to prove what your income was for the same period last year. This is probably the problem with the taxi drivers.

Re: Citizens Advice Centers
We have been at the Post Office two weeks ago. We have had to make an appointment by phone in advance. Good thing is you don't have to wait at all. Phone No. was 8000 2000. I hope the procedure is still the same.

Re: UK license to Cypriot license Help please
Ok, here is our story. Went there with my husband at 7am, put his name on the list – was number 20. Waited for an hour. At 8am a man came out, gave everybody on the list a number (about 40 people by that time) and took first 5 people inside. At 10am was our turn. We waited till one of the ladies on ...

Re: UK license to Cypriot license Help please
Absolutely dreadful experince there today. Tried to change the driving licence, spent 3 and half hour in the heat, and achieved nothing. There is no system, nobody knows what the person at the next desk is doing. Worse than in a third world country.

Re: CHANGING DRlVING LICENSE!
Please, I am confused - can you change your foreign driving licence at the Citizens Advice center or do you have to go to the Transport department? We have been at the TD on Monday and run away. Just pure chaos there.

Re: Sweeping changes, higher penalties for animal abuse approved by cabinet
Why? Because I live in reality? Because I have seen so many cases of animal abuse where the police said they will investigate, find and punish the offender (under the already existing laws), but have never seen an outcome.

If they don't enforce the existing laws, what is the point in adopting a new one?

Unfortunately cycling route is not the same as cycle lane. It is just a line in a map.

Re: Paphos cat lady needs help after fall leaves her bed-bound
It’s the Brits and other foreigners who run most of the cat and dog shelters here. Without them, there would be dogs in packs running on the streets attacking people, suffering cats living from the bins and being poisoned at the end of the season.
