Re: Covid 19 vaccination

The video posted by Austin7 was definitely an expose on Pfizer that I was not aware of. I doubt the claims made in it not to be fact, otherwise they would lay themselves open to a major lawsuit. However, in respect of the company who made the (hopeful) breakthrough re Covid, I see from their website...

Re: Covid 19 vaccination

By not being aware the vaccine hasn´t actually been developed by Pfizer but rather by Biontech ? Pfizer merely provided cash and perfomed the clinical trials in the US. The simple ...... If I ever did agree to have it it certainly wouldn't be within a year or two of it's use (if I live that long) a...

What a pity they weren't responsible for the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport which has only just opened (after the planned 2011 opening date) and 3x the original cost!

Also think of all the pre-construction hours in the planning, detailing and manufacture of all the component parts before work even starts in the ground!

Re: Covid 19 vaccination

I'm of an age when having a potentially life saving vaccine is a no brainer, with the possibility of some short or long term side effects is not an issue. All drugs usually come with some side effects and no doubt the Covid one will have some! Better than to die of coronavirus. How will those who ar...

You can subscribe to Skype and get a uk phone number and also subscribe to free uk calls.....costs around 50 to 60 pound per year. Then you can phone any uk landline without charge or anyone in uk can phone your skype number at local rates. You can use a pc, phone or tablet....the other person does...

Lufthansa are trialling pre boarding Covid tests. They say that may be a way to make travellers feel safer and get people flying again. If people are shown to test positive they will be denied boarding.

Re: Government to convene meeting for tomorrow with Health Experts re COVID.

On a positive note, I was at SuperHome this morning. A man at the entrance taking temperatures and limiting the numbers going in. Hand gel was there at the entrance and inside the shop. I didn't spot even one person not wearing a mask, properly too. I was expecting the shop to be a bit crowded, but ...

Looking at the vote share, 51.5% Biden to 48.5% Trump I am wondering if the USA will be as divided as ever and some wont accept the democratic result. Hopefully people are big enough to realise this is democracy in action, but history says otherwise. Some remainers need to remember that too. Are yo...

They ought to include a clause to the effect that in accepting this invitation to tender, and having read the tender documents, you declare that when submitting your offer, you have accepted all terms and conditions, thereby precluding any subsequent legal action by the company against the government.

Re: Islandwide taxi strike planned for Tuesday

Returning to the subject, if there was a taxi strike yesterday, there was no sign of any taxis on the approach roads to the Motorway roundabout... I had no problems using it and there was less traffic than usual! So was the taxi strike just another rumour? Dee I'd read that only the drivers in Nico...

If I was the king of Cyprus incoming passengers would have to quarantine and get electronic tags to make sure they do. That would also help the hospitality industry as a collateral benefit. Thank God, Cyprus doesn't have a King, but I agree with the rest of your post. Might be a damn sight better t...
