Re: Suspected Frozen Shoulder
I had a frozen shoulder about 8 years ago. It lasted for about 5 months. It was not a pleasant time as I found it difficult to put on shirts and rucksacks and I was in a lot of pain. After about 5 months I was offered a cortisone injection and that eased the pain almost immediately and it only took ...

Re: Millo's Tower - Geroskipou
Thanks for this post Dominic as we probably would have never come across it. Parked in Geriskipou and walked to it. An impressive tower and nice to see they have obviously spent some money in doing this area up

Re: DNS on Cyta Router
I do have an Amazon Firestick at home so will bring it over next time. Apart from the Roku stick's limitations I do really like it. I'm going to give Nord VPN a go so will go through your link Dominic.

Re: DNS on Cyta Router
I think the trouble is Gerry that it looks like for the Roku you can’t put it on the actual device. You have to put it on the router. I also have an Apple TV device and that is the same. Smart DNS says on their setup page that if you put it on the router then all your devices will work from that. Al...

Re: DNS on Cyta Router
Thanks for your replies Dominic. It seems the best rated VPN is Express VPN but I’m not sure that would even fool the likes of BBC. I guess I’m going to have to bite the bullet and give it a go.

Re: DNS on Cyta Router
Thanks for your replies. The trouble is that Amazon Prime and Disney seem to know you are using a VPN so block you anyway. I thought a DNS would be better and also doesn’t slow down the speed so much. I’m a bit worried about messing around too much with the router in case I completely break it and n...

DNS on Cyta Router
I have a Cyta router here in Cyprus. I have brought a Roku stick over from the UK with me. On this I have loads of apps all paid for such as Disney, Amazon Prime, Discovery Plus etc etc. The only one that seems to work properly is Netflix. Is it possible to put a DNS service on a Cyta router to make...

Palm Tree Advice
Hi. Because of Covid we were not able to get out to our house for 22 months. We have been here for 10 days now. We had a bad leak which caused quite a bit of damage and if it wasn’t for a friend we have it would have been a lot worse. A lot of it was due to all the seeds that drop from a nearby palm...

90 day rule
Hi. I want to confirm the regulation where you can only stay 90 days in a 180 day period. So is that a rolling 180 day period. We are coming out on the 10th October. 180 days from the 10th October is the 8th April. We are coming out for 49 days in October/November. We plan to book another 30 days in...

Re: England Flight Rules Ease As Of October 4th
We are flying out of UK on the 10th October and flying back on the 27th November. Will we still have to pay for the expensive PCR test for our arrival back in UK. We’ve never filled out a flight pass yet so not sure if it will recognise our flight home date will be after the change in regulations. T...

Holitec

Re: Anyone have an Amazon Alexa?
We have had an echo dot for a couple of years. We do not use it an awful lot but it was cheap. It’s handy for when you are watching something and you quickly want to find out how old someone is or who they are married to or what year the film came out. It just saves getting the phone out. Also you c...

Mag 250
Due to circumstances I have had to upgrade my Mag box so I have for sale a Mag 250 box. This is due to a change to my router position so I needed one with built in Wifi. It was working perfectly and comes with the remote control,an ethernet cable, and an HDMI cable. I’m looking for 40 Euros for it. ...
