We app,ied for and got a refund from Jet2 within a few days. I was also booked on a Ryanair to Dublin. Flight cancelled and I am in the queue for a refund. Me...

Re: Eu trade talks/covid-19

So on top of the outlandishly spendthrift budget which will cause UK borrowing to soar stratospherically, the UK will now have to contend with a Brexit in which negotiations have not even begun, plus the multi-billion cost of tackling Covid-19. I would put zero chance on Trump coming to the UK's ai...

Re: Remainers vow never to use Brexit coins

And I've no doubt whatsoever you would be singing a VERY different tune too if the result was reversed. If our voting system was fair we would have Proportional Representation but we have a loaded system that favours the Tories. As I said in earlier posts the "Lets Get Brexit Done" suppor...

Re: Remainers vow never to use Brexit coins

I’ve no doubt whatsoever that you’d be singing a VERY different tune if the vote was to Remain. Just because you disagree with the result doesn’t mean the system is broken. And I've no doubt whatsoever you would be singing a VERY different tune too if the result was reversed. If our voting system w...

Re: Not what we wanted to hear: it's looking like a No Deal :(

How about having a second referendum.........but with exactly the same wording.....Leave or Remain. We have all had over 3 years of pantomime, quarreling, breaking of Parliamentary precedence, MPs quitting membership of parties on whose manifests they were elected on. And if the majority is Leave, y...

Re: Not what we wanted to hear: it's looking like a No Deal :(

I really cannot believe that Johnson would stoop so low...and if true it will come back to bite him 100 times over. The EU holds a weapon 27 times larger than the UK and will seek to punish the UK and it's citizens for any act of sabotage. It bodes ill for those of us who live and work in Europe. h...

Not a lot of point really, because no matter what replies are made people like yourselves will poo poo them. Much like the members of UK parliament who are hell bent on depriving 17.4 million people their expected outcome. Apart from the ex Communist states who are now member States, name one Europe...

[quote=Jimgward post_id=97929 time=1569670825 user_id=360] The inner house of the Scottish court of sessions concluded Boris Johnson’s advice to the Queen had been “motivated by the improper purpose of stymying parliament”. www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-49847304 By what right does a civil servant pronounce on political issues, especially as it is he, directly or indirectly, who is instrumental in the cause for the anger? Re: At last, a clear Brexit strategy.

Interesting the assumption John Major is now making, that Boris will now ‘ignore’ the Benn law, not to have a no-deal brexit, but using an old method to ignore through privy council. Boris and ALL his cabinet refuse to stop calling it the “Surrender” bill - even though it has been asked of them as ...

Re: Does David Cameron regret the referendum...

Well, it would appear that HiC will continue his arrogant posts and insult those who voted to Leave his beloved European Union. So as far as he is concerned there are 17.4 million snowflake twerps, and worse, not forgetting he includes his own offspring in that. So be it. At least they voted, unlike...

To Jim B and Les Bean..... I have read and appreciate your replies. Of course the term 'twerp' doesn't make me break out in an outrageous sweat. Outasite I too take exception to Lloyd's personal attacks on Brexit voters. As advised by Admin, I have made a complaint to that effect. Will it do any good ? We shall see. I don't mind people having views on the outcome of the vote, but his obvious glee at the total screw up that has happened, all...

This mess is all because he thought his 'project fear' would win, hence he had no need to prepare for Brexit. No, the mess is because twerps who didn't realise what they were voting for were suckered in by the lies of Boris and Farage and voted to leave the EU - our nearest, closest and largest tra...

Yup, they'll stay with the demon barber. Short back and sides for your bank accounts. Bargain./ Thank yer lucky stars the EU was there to bail out a failed and bankrupt island nation.
