Re: Horseless carraiges.Petrol or Diesel?

WHL
If your mates car is a new Merc he needs to take it back - I have a new E350 AMG Diesel and you can just hear it running when standing next to it and when your inside if it wasn't for the rev counter you would not know it was running - Totally silent they are very well sound proofed.

Trev - Ice build up on the backplate is something that you really cannot do much about - If it builds up on the inside backplate this occurs when the door is not shut properly or has been open too long caused by the warm external air meeting the cold backplate and freezing - If it occurs on the exte...

Re: Interpol chief says Cyprus considered one of the "safest countries"

A good point David Brown and you may be correct but it depends on the definition of Safest Countries and in what respect, The region has been volatile all of my lifetime but Cyprus has been fairly safe except for the invasion in 1974. Stock said: “Cyprus is considered a very safe country and this is...

Re: The catacombs of Agios Mnasonas

It sort of diminishes the historic interest and atmosphere of the place when you see a Lidl carrier bag hanging on the wall - I visited the one just down the road from the Roman Hotel a while ago and there was a Cola bottle standing in the shrine with the candles and holy pictures - I cannot imagine...

I would think GPS advanced capability – Not only capable of finding your lost moggy or car keys or even clowns lost in snow drifts in the lake district – But also tagged known criminals – Current capabilities can track you to within 1 metre of where you stand ( if you have your mobile with you) and ...

Get’s quite heated at times on here over the slightest thing. She would not get back into the UK even if she still had her citizenship for a couple of reasons – She could not go back to her family even after interrogation as she would not last 30 seconds the way feelings are about these kind of peop...
