Oniro restaurant Renovation Update

They are in the process of renovating the Oniro Restaurant by the Edro III wreck, though "replacing" would be a more accurate term. First of all though, they are constructing a temporary restaurant to keep the summer customers happy until the new dream is completed. Let's see how the work ...

Another boutique hotel? There will be another one where Aphrodite's Children is.

I saw the twirly things when I was doing a film. Unfortunately the sound didn't record so I will rerecord it at a later date and show them off then.

Paphos Old Town Market Has A New Roof!

The Old Town Market has a new roof! The walkways are now once again shaded, and shoppers can once more shop in comfort. We took a walkaround, so you can see for yourself what the new roof is like.

Akourdaleia's Secret Gorge

I thought I would treat myself today and film an area of the countryside that won't be familiar to many of you, though you will have driven past it on numerous occasions if you have taken the B7 from Paphos to Polis. Once you get past Giolou and Miliou, there are two left turns in quick succession, ...

This route shows a nice way of getting from Tala to Kissonerga. In this case we finish at Potima Bay, but we start at the lovely monastery. From there we drive down into Tala via Tala Cats. Re: First time .... (pic)

Oh yeah. Rabbits, guinea pigs. They even got a chicken that adopted us in Cyprus. We named it Peepers, and it kept our rabbit company for weeks. It roosted in our of our thick hedges, and grew big enough to ward off any interest from the cats. One morning though, all that remained was a big bunch of...

Re: First time .... (pic)

This is one I took years ago in our back garden back in England. Given that foxes ate a lot of my pets when I grew up, I consider them to be vermin. This one however, is rather cute.

Is anybody having problems posting to the forum?

I recently received an email from 71 Trans Am saying that when he tried to post a comment it was taking him straight back to the login screen. I've asked him to try using a private window and if that doesn't work, clearing coookies. But I thought I would check to see if anybody else was having issue...

Paphos Country Sightseeing

We have recently had friends from the UK visiting, and naturally took them to see some of the treasures of Paphos that are away from the usual tourist's eye. In this article we explore the top part of the Xeros Valley, take in an abandoned village and a beautiful Venetian Bridge. Read the article an...
