Re: Easy jet flights

I am still not clear on what is required on flights from the U.K. to Cyprus. EasyJet are saying on their website that all that is required is a vaccination certificate . I know a flight from Bristol arrived yesterday and am wondering if any member knows any passengers who have recently arrived from ...

Re: Easy jet flights

I was booked to fly out from Bristol to Paphos on the 5th June but have moved my flight forward as the information from easyJet is not clear. They are still taking bookings for a flight from Bristol to Paphos for this Saturday so there appears to be no consistency on the flight programme.

Re: St. George's day 23rd April

As bmw posted an excellent article by littlejohn sums up today’s attitudes. Be careful not to celebrate too much or the ethnic minorities ( Scottish and Welsh ) will accuse us of imperialism and colonialism. :-)

Re: Easyjet

Just a quick follow up , I have now rebooked the flights and the earliest for a Saturday is the 5th June , so perhaps the 1st June is the starting date.

Easyjet

I was surprised to receive an email from EasyJet this morning advising that my flight from Bristol to Paphos on the 22nd May has been cancelled. I had moved my flight from early May to this date on the assumption flights from the U.K. were starting on the 17th May. Anyone else had a similar email as...

I guess if you have a drone delivery service you would have to leave a window open when you are expecting a parcel. ;)

Re: Paphos beaches

I had always thought that the sand was brought in from the Sahara to top up the beaches in the Paphos area but the Cypriot who has the concession for the Coralia beach told me the sand was brought in by road from a quarry near Nicosia !

Re: Title deeds..A new twist.

I thought I read sometime ago that a Cyprus government official had said that the British living in Cyprus would be ok after brexit as there was legislation in place prior to the EU. This seemed to be linked with the commonwealth , can anyone throw any light on it.

Thanks. Terry

Re: advice needed

We have had tiles fitted over old tiles and PVA was used first on the old tiles to ensure that the adhesive gripped the old tiles. Worth checking to see if this is applicable.

MOT

My Cyprus MOT is due in May and I am hopeful that I will be out to be able to have it done . In the worst case scenario are you allowed any leeway if you are unable to be here. I am sure I am not the only person in this position. I would add that the car is taxed and insured. Thanks.

Re: Account of having the Covid vaccination at Paphos Hospital

What I find strange about the recording of COVID deaths is that if for example you die from being hit by a bus but you are still within the 28 days of being diagnosed with the virus then your death is recorded as a being from COVID . I have heard of creative accounting but this strikes me as civil s...

Re: Account of having the Covid vaccination at Paphos Hospital

I am 75 next Friday so hopefully as I am moving up to level 3 I might be vaccinated in the near future . Do you receive any kind of documentation when you have had the jab ? As I am intending to come to Cyprus ASAP I assume you will be required to have some kind of proof. Thanks
