Re: Where to buy real saffron?

I buy REAL Spanish saffron in AlphaMega usually under the brand name Vilux. It is usually in small plastic boxes (but sometimes in very small glass jars) and the contents in the box is 1 gram. From memory costs approaching 5 euros. It is, of course, where all the other spices are located. Like one b...

Re: Banks getting greedy - governments says it will act

My banking activity is relatively small so for personal safety I have never used internet banking and don't think I will ever do so. However, it now looks as if it's going to cost me due to BOC's revised charges

Another interesting article mainly about tetanus jabs and 'flu vaccine is also mentioned. So, now got to make sure I have neither a 'flu nor a tenanus jab in future. https://healthimpactnews.com/2013/tetanus-vaccine-causes-a-new-disease-known-as-antiphospholipid-syndrome/?fbclid=IwAR20Hpj-1JGfi7OLzh...

But no, Thursday isn’t a hunting day! That takes place (legally!) on Sundays and Weds.
Today, according to the paper a certain company is striking, hopefully its nothing to do with anyone feeling disgruntled...

.... but yesterday when the fires occurred it was Wednesday (hunting day).

As I have posted on here before I have never had a separate eye test, just the medical check up by my GESY doctor and there is never a query from the officials.

Re: The poppy

I think I am right in saying that to wear the English style poppy correctly the leaf should point upwards to the 11o'clock position to denote the time the hostilities stopped.

Re: Flat Roof Sealant

What you need is a vent installed and the ceiling painted with Fungitex paint. It's lack of ventilation that causes mould. Jim I would say that is correct. I have a family bathroom with a fairly low ceiling and flat roof. Every year I did get black mould on the ceiling which would wipe off with ble...

There are a lot of people on this forum who know English as their second language so if wrong words are used it becomes difficult for them to understand what is being said. Went there many years ago and did enjoy it. When serving the meze the owner was amused to point out that the lamb (or goat's) testicles were known by him as female viagra. It didn't put off the female members of the group from eating them.

Re: Absolutely riveting Facebook page...

There is a good site re:cancer and natural cures. "The truth about cancer" gives tips on what to eat, what to avoid and many stories from people who have recovered from various cancers without chemo and radiation. There is another one for diabetes too. Is this a facebook site or a separate website....
