Re: Air Fryer conundrum

Thanks to all for your contributions. In the end we bit the bullet and ordered our preferred air fryer - the Ninja Air Fryer AF100 - from Amazon. I’ll report back on our progress with 21st Century technology. Does that model circulate the food around like the Actifry? That constant movement helps c...

I have been using Lee at LHUKCY since he started - never ever had a problem, yes and it's cheap.

Don't know if it still the same but when in the Venus Beach some time ago I noticed a permanent sign by the pool which stated No Lifeguards on Duty.

I've never tried it, can't really say I fancy it, but if a nice young lady from Inverness was to ask me round to try it how could I possibly refuse. 8-)

Re: Air Fryer conundrum

Actually can't remember the last time I used our deep fat frier, tend to always use the Actifry with a teaspoon of coconut oil (the proper cold pressed virgin type from AlphaMega 8-) ). Can roughly remember the last time I had dripping, it was about 75 years ago spread on toast

AR . . . . . . .ermmm I mean Austin 7, just get your backside into gear and get yon piece of kit out again and surprise yourself. If Dev can do it then you can. X MB I can do it :o but it takes quite a bit of patience. It's ideal for when a group of people are sitting around nattering and each cook...

Re: Enjoy your haggis tonight.

I've had a raclette grill for nearly 20 years but have only used it a couple of times. For me it's one of those gadgets I just can't be bothered with.

Re: Air Fryer conundrum

Just a thought. Lakeland stock a number of Air Fryers from 60 pounds and they deliver orders to Cyprus (and all EU) for a fixed price of 7.50 pounds regardless of size of order (so you could add other things as well if you wish).

Re: Cataract surgery

In the case of my wife.. both. She realised that her vision was 'cloudy,' and the optician Panicos at Eye Contact told her she needed to see an optical surgeon.. That's reassuring, hadn't noticed anything wrong with my sight and saw Panicos last week for an examination. He didn't mention cataracts ...

Re: Cataract surgery

How do you know when you need this operation, are you told on routine check up by optician or do you instinctively know because of loss of clear vision?

Re: Parents of alleged Ayia Napa gang rape victim feel optimistic

That whole area (as Paphos) has changed dramatically over the decades. My first holiday to Cyprus was in 1986 at the Sunrise Beach Hotel in Protaras which then was about the only hotel in a totally undeveloped area, drove back there last year for the first time and didn't recognise the place due to ...

I do not think so, but to be honest I now hate driving in town Jim, I was not talking about roundabouts in general, just the one at the Mall which CL doubters said would not work, as they also continually complained about the T...
