I realise that the money saved on (for example) filling a swimming pool would be a lot.. But Water is not really dear in Cyprus for the amount the average householder would be using

Obviously it is illegal to disconnect your water meter, or bypass it. I wonder if he got soaked when he took the meter from the end of the mains

Well thats just in Paphos, the villages are fairly autonomous as they read and collect funds from elec and water meters in their village. In our case remote reading of the Electric meter would seem to be difficult as the meter is complex and part of the PV panels set up

Wow, that is a big increase. We use that 1lt boxed wine. Other places do sell it but usually at a slightly higher price than Smart

There is one thing that it is difficult to do without and that is milk in tea or coffee, or for having cereals with. So we will just have to grin and bear it. I have seen quite big price rises in fruit and salad items in past months, but when people stop buying them, they come down again..

A few months back I had to have a test at a chemist to see a hospital consultant. The test was a swab in the nose, but not a bad experience .

No tests were needed for our GP or for the Dentist a few weeks ago. But they do insist you wear masks. It is the rule inside
