Re: Coronavirus: Situation in hospitals critical, private sector could do "more to help"

I wonder where the "additional general practitioners" will come from.. And will that mean that their patients will no longer be able to consult with them ??

Re: Are Cyprus Covid Cases Really Rising ?

However you look at it the report says.. "Admissions have been steadily rising in recent days with state hospitals treating a record 228 coronavirus patients on Tuesday."
We know first hand that this is the reason that other surgery is being cancelled..

Re: Lercanidipine 10 mg.

As Jackie is in the UK I would have thought the leaflet would be in English.

But really if you have side effects that you are not happy with it is a doctor that should be consulted really, not members of a forum.. Whatever a member tells you may well be different for another patient..

Re: UK State Pension Increase.

My guess is that the part of your pensions that you get from your late husbands account has not increased at all.. So IF that part has no increase at all, it will bring the overall percentage down.

I think this problem re the picture is that some people are not 'opening up' the article in the very first post.
Therefore they are not seeing the 'Wrong' picture at all ..

Re: Has anyone had Carpel Tunnel surgery here in Cyprus.

Fortunately I am it would appear in the very early stages of this affliction, and mainly only have pins and needles in my fingers. I do also get 'electric shocks' (my terminology) in my left wrist. So I will wait to see what the next step is when I see my consultant.. I assume he will refer me to a ...

I can certainly see the Mayors point of view. And I too would have to agree with him, I cannot see it working 100% or anywhere near that.

Re: Has anyone had Carpel Tunnel surgery here in Cyprus.

Thankyou again galexinda.. At the two hospitals I use it is quite difficult to get in to just see anyone. But I will bear in mind what you say.. I was thinking of getting a splint, and indeed tried one of pull on type wrist sleeves last night.. I took it off halfway through the night, it felt as tho...

Re: Has anyone had Carpel Tunnel surgery here in Cyprus.

The only snag I see there is that means getting yet another referral. And what the Physio says may be at variance with what the Neurologist says.. I will wait to see what is suggested in 4 weeks or so..
But it is good that there is a surgeon in the hospital that I am already seeing a consultant..

Re: Bose computer speaker repair

There is a TV repairer that also repairs other items not far from the main Paps in town. These are my best directions.. As you come out of the main Paps onto Polis road turn right towards the traffic lights. At the lights turn left, then take the next left. The Repairer is on the right in about 100 ...

Here is confirmation " Inflation for last October came in at just 0.5%, while average earnings in the three months to July actually dropped by 1%. That is why the 2.5% ‘lock’ has come into play, meaning that is how much the State Pension increased by from April 2021. " This is from https://www.lovem...

Thanks Tanny. I did realise the mistake :-) i am appreciative of everyone's input as it is all more knowledge for me.. It will be 4 or 5 weeks before I get to discuss this with my consultant.
