A night under the stars, where the rhythm and movement meet through the dance and live music. Join as for a music and dance “rhythm exchange” at Technopolis 20 garden.The dancers Georgios Pillas and Ann-sylvia Clark from New York, perform for a third summer at Technopolis 20, accompanied with Jazz, Latin and Afro beats by a live band (Spyros Socratous – double bass, Constantinos Yenis – guitar, Stefani Neofytou – vocals) and they promise an interesting and exciting evening.

Georgios Pillas: Georgios started his dance training at the age of 10, with Greek folk and Latin dances. He studied at the Fontys Dance Academy, Netherlands and simultaneously, he travelled to Barcelona, Paris and Brussels participating in dance workshops, festivals and shows. While traveling he studied with legendary dance instructors and choreographers such as Brian Green, Ejoe Wilson, Mr Wiggles, Iveta Lukosiute, Gherman Mustuc. Georgios relocated to New York City to continue his training at Broadway Dance Center through the International Student Visa Program and graduated in 2010. He has performed with the Greek Culture Center of New York, Pratt University, Arthur Murray Dance Studios, HBO Studios etc. He also competes in professional dance 
competitions and became champion in Hustle Dance 2015. 

Ann Sylvia Clark: Ann-Sylvia started out as a gymnast at the age of 5 and continued on for 12 years. She has travelled all over Norway and Europe with the gymnastic team, but later showed more interest in dance and was accepted into the Flow Dance Academy in Copenhagen. Ann-Sylvia performed with Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams at the 2006 MTV European Music Awards. Since moving to New York, she continued her training, participated in shows and music videos, and did backup dancing for various artists. In 2009 she became a member of the “Decadance theatre”,a hip-hop theatrical company, with which she has toured the US and the UK and performed at the Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival three times. She has appeared on “Good Day New York” on Fox 5 and CBS, and on the national television show “Fake off”. Ann-Sylvia has finally been mentioned in the “The New York times”.

Stefanie Neofytou: graduated from the Music School of Pafos in 2015. She has been studying classical piano and classical music rendition for 10 and 5 years respectively. Stefanie has just finished her second year of her studies at the Ionian University of Corfu in the Music Department.

Spyros Socratous: a graduate of the Music School of Paphos. This year will start his Jazz music studies specialised in Double Bass at the Royal Conservatory of Hague. He had classes with Irineos Koulouras and he attended seminars in USA run by the internationally renowned American jazz double bassist Ron Carter, who has won two Grammy awards and finally by the acclaimed jazz bassist Peter Brendler, a graduate of Berklee College of Music and the Manhattan School of Music.

The Venue

Head into town from the Debenhams roundabout and turn right just before the Makarios statue, over the crossroads then right again just past the big white court building, and the venue will be found 200M on the right with parking on the left.
